Story
Hi y'all. My name is Jaime. I was abandoned by my human. They left me and others behind when they moved. But it all worked out, cause you see this nice lady came and rescued us. Now I have a yard with toys and treats. Even as nice as this place is. I yearn for my own family to run and play with. A place where I'll never be left behind again.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
**Meet Sable - The Energetic Husky Looking for Her Forever Home!** Sable is a sweet, playful Husky who is sure to steal your heart! She absolutely loves treats, chew toys, and peanut butter—her favorites! She’s learning to stay out of trouble (she’s even starting to leave the turtles alone... we think! ), and she's very responsive to voice commands. Sable is full of energy and loves playing with other dogs, though she can get a bit rowdy, so a playmate who can keep up with her would be ideal. While she's great with dogs, she’s still learning how to be around cats. Our cat isn't quite convinced yet, as Sable’s playful, sometimes predatory instincts can be a bit much for him. She’s going to make a fantastic companion for someone with an active lifestyle, preferably without cats. If you’re looking for an energetic, loyal, and fun-loving buddy to run, play, and share adventures with, Sable is your girl!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Hi, I am LaBelle I am a 3 year-old Husky who was rescued from a high kill facility right after I gave birth to my babies. A sweet lady saw me and knew I needed help, so she offered to foster me and my babies until we could find our forever homes. I am so thankful for her and the rescue who saved us. I absolutely love spending time with people and other dogs. I would love a big yard to play in and if there were kids for me to play with, that would even be better. I love children. I love to be outside and enjoying nice cool weather. I do very well inside and use my manners. Unless I really want your attention, then I like to talk to you..... I am a true husky. We are chatty! I would do best with an active family. Please consider giving me a chance to show you how much I can love you. I am a really good girl with a lot of personality. I am fully vetted and ready for adoption. I can be transferred to you via ground transportation as well. I am located in Texas

Story
Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!

Story
Here's Yukon! He is a beautiful white husky with startling blue eyes who showed up as a stray in a rural area. His foster family already had three dogs, a foster dog, three cats, and five children, but they felt like they couldn't leave him out in the woods to freeze, starve, or be hit by a car. so they took him in. He is being well taken care of in his foster home but their 15-year-old dog doesn't like him, so he is mostly confined to a small area in the living room. As you can imagine, this is difficult for an active breed like a husky! Yukon is being very tolerant and patient in this situation but he would love someone to adopt him ASAP so he can run and play as much as he needs to. Yukon gets along well with other dogs. He is house-trained and sleeps in his kennel all night as long as a human sleeps in the same room with him. He loves chew toys and will chase a tennis ball and bring it back. He isn't used to walking on a leash but is learning quickly. He would be a great hiking companion for an active person. His appointment to be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped is coming up soon. Yukon is being fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. He can't wait to meet you!
