Story
Dog Name: Cheyanne Breed: Husky Mix Sex: Female Age: 4 months Weight: 20lbs Medical Needs: None Housebroken: She does well when kept on a schedule Crate trained: 90% of the way there! She naps in her kennel during the day and sleeps in it at night Good in the car: Yes, either free or kenneled Good on a leash: She's getting there! Energy level: Puppy! Play hard, crash hard. Need a fenced in yard: Not necessary but will need frequent walks throughout the day. Dog Friendly: Yes! She's currently fostered with dogs of all breeds and sizes and does very well with them! If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No, so long as she has a way to channel her energy, she'll be fine. Cat Friendly? Yes, she is very interested in our cats and will follow them around. Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age with proper supervision Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Here she comes, there she goes… where she'll stop - nobody knows! Cheyanne is a spunky, playful, and active puppy, for sure. She wants to run, and play, and get into as much mischief as you'll let her, and at the end of it all, she'll flop at your feet - or your lap, or at your side - for a well-deserved nap. Because of her breed mix, this little girl is going to need someone dedicated to channeling that energy of hers. If you're active, even better! You know what they say… a tired puppy is a happy puppy! And Cheyanne might just be one of the happiest around, for sure. This mighty little Amazonian had a touch-and-go start after making the long trip from Texas at just a week old, but you'd never know it now. She's strong, and healthy, and happy as can be. All she's waiting for is you to come scoop her up for her next greatest adventure! Due to her age, she needs someone home during the day, or at least, not left alone more than 4 hours Fosters Location: Harrington, DE Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (if you already have an approved application on file email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com and ask the app team to pull your app) ##1959859##

Story
Dog Name: Urania Breed: Pomeranian/ Husky Sex: Female Age: 2 year Weight:20lbs Medical Needs: UTD on vaccines, spayed Housebroken: schedule trained Crate trained: yes Good in the car: yes Good on a leash: Working on it Energy level: medium Need a fenced in yard: no Dog Friendly: yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? Yes Cat Friendly? Yes Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 5 Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Urania is very quiet considering her breed, however once she’s outside on the leash she’s on a mission and the husky in her comes shining through. She’s 100% crate trained and enjoys hanging out in there. It’s her safe space. Urania loves to be around other dogs, she gets so excited to play with them so it’s suggested that you have another dog in the home. She becomes more playful and confident around them. She’s currently fostered with a 5 year old and has done very well with him. We’ve only ever had one accident in the house which happened on day 2 of fostering. Since then we’ve been free of accidents. This foxy gal is ready for her forever home!
