You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bella!  *Her adoption fee is $350.00. *She is believed to be a 10 month old Husky mix.*Bella is a very loving and playful pup!*The Husky breed is known for being little Houdini's when it comes to escaping things!!  So, a fenced in yard is required.*Bella would love to have another dog companion in the home, but she does not do well with dominant females.*She is very people shy and can take some time to warm up.*Bella knows her basic commands.*To be her most successful self she will definitely need continued socialization and obedience training.*Bella is looking for a family that has the time and patience to work with her and understand that while she isn't all the way there yet, she will be a great dog with consistency.  *The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. Story
If you're ready for a whole lot of Husky and a whole lot of heart, Thor is here to steal the show! This striking blue-eyed boy came to us with his equally charming brother, Loki, and both are looking for homes to call their own.Thor is your classic Husky through and through: a bit dramatic, fiercely independent, and brimming with personality. He’s not the biggest fan of the shelter’s noise and hustle but get him outside, and you’ll see his sweet, playful side shine! Once he's in the open air, away from the kennel chaos, he’s all about fun, adventure, and, yes, some serious Husky sass.Thor is incredibly vocal (he’ll tell you exactly what he thinks!), strong-willed, and absolutely loves to run. So, he’s looking for a home that understands the Husky lifestyle—a place where he can get the daily exercise and mental stimulation he needs to stay balanced and happy. And, of course, anyone adopting Thor should be ready for all that floof! Grooming is essential for this fluffy fella, and he comes with an endless supply of Husky “glitter” (aka fur) to sprinkle throughout your home! While he’s been pretty indifferent to other dogs here, we aren’t sure yet how he’ll do with small animals or young children. But with the right match, Thor is ready to settle into a life full of fun, companionship, and adventure. If you're looking to add a little (or a lot) of Husky drama and a ton of love to your life, come meet Thor and see if this blue-eyed beauty is the missing piece to your family! And don’t forget to check out his brother Loki, too!

Story
Hey there, future human! I’m Loki, your soon-to-be favorite red fluffball and certified Husky goofball extraordinaire. I arrived here as a stray with my bro, Thor (yep, he's available, too!), and I’m on the lookout for a new partner in crime—I mean, loving forever family.Let’s get down to business: I’ve got a big personality (who, me? Dramatic?), and I promise I’ll keep you thoroughly entertained. Whether I’m singing the song of my people, zooming around like a maniac, or giving you my best “innocent” look, life with me will never be boring. But I’ll warn you now—I’m a runner! So, unless you want to see me dart off like the wind, make sure you’ve got a secure yard or a strong leash, okay? Also, I’ve got this luxurious red coat that requires regular brushing. What can I say? Being this fabulous takes work. So, if you’re ready to keep up with my Husky energy and don’t mind a bit of fur (okay, a LOT of fur), we just might be a match. So, what do you say? Are you ready for a life of laughs, fluff, and Husky shenanigans? Come meet me and see if you can handle all this Husky charm—I dare you!

Story
Oh, hi there! I’m Kenai.Listen, I may be small in size, but don’t let that fool you—I’m a BIG deal. I came to FDHS as a stray with my brother (he’s already found his people, lucky guy), and now it’s my turn to shine. I’m a young Husky mix with excellent manners, a tidy streak, and a secretly silly personality just waiting to make you laugh. When I first got here, I was, uh… let’s say a little “unsure” of the world. (Okay, fine, I was totally petrified, but who wouldn’t be? It’s a big, noisy place out there!) But now, I’ve made SO much progress, and I’ve even learned this magical thing called “leash manners.” Spoiler alert: I nailed it.I’m pretty good with other animals, so if you’ve got furry roommates, I can totally hang. And if I’m your one and only? Well, I’ll just soak up ALL the attention, thank you very much.I’m not the kind of guy to boast, but once I warm up to you, you’ll get to see my fun and goofy side. I’m talking zoomies, silly faces, and maybe even a little dance when I’m feeling extra happy. So, what do you say? Come meet me, let’s fall in love, and I promise to be the BEST boy! **Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 40 lbs**
