Story
Meet River Meet River – The Sweetest Husky with Stunning Ice-Blue Eyes! River isn’t just a gorgeous 3-year-old Siberian Husky—she’s also a true sweetheart with a heart as big as her fluffy coat. With her striking ice-blue eyes and gentle nature, she turns heads everywhere she goes! River has already shown her loving and nurturing side—when she arrived, she stepped up as a surrogate mom to a litter of abandoned puppies. She adores everyone she meets and expects every passerby on the trail to stop and say hello. Despite her Husky energy, she’s gentle on the leash and loves to jog alongside you at a comfortable pace. She’s calm, well-mannered, and knows how to sit, which makes us think she’s had owners before. She’s also unfazed by other dogs, bikers, strollers, or runners—just a happy, friendly pup all around. While she’s quiet on walks, she does have that classic Husky howl when she’s back in her kennel. She takes treats sweetly, loves both men and women equally, and is simply an amazing dog looking for her forever home. She has a little too much interest in cats so would not be good in a home with felines or other small animals. If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate, and adventurous Husky to be your best friend, River is your girl! Adoption application can be found here-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
If you’re looking for a sweet & cuddly husky who will sing ballads of love to you and leap into your arms when you come home…look no further! My name is Pumpkin & I am sweeter than pie. My foster mom thinks I’m one of the sweetest dogs she has ever met. I’m a 1-2 year old *baby* boy weighing in at around 52 pounds. I’m a typical young husky. My perfect home would provide me with structure, routine, love, attention, training, plenty of exercise, and a little bit of patience and understanding of my breed (husky experience recommended). I would LOVE to be your running/hiking buddy (especially if it is followed by a good nap and snuggle when we get home). I would thrive in home where my family works from home (I will nap next to you all day long), or would be able to coordinate care for me while away for long periods of time (at least until I am more comfortable & know that you’re in this for life). I have learned to love my crate as long as I have my favorite blanket. I often retreat to my crate when I’m ready for bed or a nap. Continued crate training will be very important in my new home as I am overcoming some crate anxiety when left home alone. I love to play with other dogs & the dog park is my favorite! I would make a great addition to a family with another dog or husky (but this is not required). No cats or small animals please! There are no papers to prove my breed (I ran away from home and left everything behind because my original family didn’t love me & they never even showed up to claim me). I was very sad in the kennel until my foster mom saved me & told me that she would find the best forever home filled with love and snackies. Could that be you? I’m a very talented vocalist, and I’m currently learning how to say “I love you,” to impress my new family! If I sound like the perfect companion for you, apply for me today!
