Story
Bunny is a 6-month-old Husky mix who was named that because of her enormous ears and her bunny-like hopping that she does. Bunny was a stray that was picked up and brought to a kill shelter. She was luckily pulled from that shelter in time and is presently being fostered in a home with about 10, or more, dogs and 3 cats. She is amazing with people, super playful with dogs and sweet but very excited to meet a cat. She is looking for a home with someone that understands the patience required to raise a puppy. She is still very young and will more likely than not grow to be over 60 pounds. Bunny will need to be leash trained, and is currently being toilet trained; she is a very young puppy whose history we don’t know, so she’s all fresh and needs to learn everything about being a balanced and well-behaved dog. She is very sweet and happy and eager to please and food motivated, which is great for training! Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!
