Meet Gracie - your new adventure buddy! She is a young and gentle girl who is just hoping for her "furrever" home. She's a husky/stafford shire terrier mix who would be perfect for those who have an active lifestyle, but she's also content hanging out at home with her human family especially if it involves a chewy toy =). Gracie is trainable, with a good temperament, likes car rides, and can learn basic commands with repetition along with practice and some patience. Her ideal home would be one with a yard where she can roam and run around. She is most happy at a dog park where she can play with other dogs off leash or belly rubs. She gets along well with other dogs and great with children. However, not a fit with cats as she might be a little too playful for most felines. Her ideal owner would be someone that can provide her with daily exercise such as walks, hikes, or a game of fetch. She is sweet, energetic, and would make a great addition to someone's family.

I saved her from a horrible owner who didn’t show her any love or attention I had her for 6 months I have a new job that has me gone all day and she deserves happiness and someone who is around she loves to play but she’s always laid back and relaxes she’s not super hyper like most huskies

Meet Casey, an adult dog who is brimming with playful energy and smartness. Her friendliness is infectious, warming up to strangers and children with a wagging tail and a cheerful demeanor. Despite her boisterous playfulness, she can also be cuddly, providing comforting companionship. She loves laps and being petted. Casey is a bit shy, often timid and jumpy, and she tends to be a little rough in her play with children and dogs. She`ll need to live with kids at least 16 years old and you will need to bring your dog to meet her. She is very slow to warm up to other canines when in a home environment and is sometimes afraid. She weighs 32 pounds, is house trained, and is an excellent burglar alarm. She knows the sit, no, and down commands. She is noisy and adventurous, ready to race out the door on a whim. She loves walks, water, tugging, toys, and running but not car rides. In fact, she would make an excellent running buddy since she never gets tired. She is also an early riser and has some herding instincts. She is a big believer in personal space. Your personal space is also her personal space. Despite these quirks, her intelligence and friendly nature make her a great companion. Her unique blend of adventurous spirit and tender affection ensures that life with Casey is never dull. 🐾🐶🧡HUSKERS🧡🐶🐾 This handsome, happy go lucky husky mix is still searching for his chance at FUR-ever with someone! While we do a lot of family hunting dog training, we also assist rescue organizations with training, evaluation and preparation for adoption! His laid back and social demeanor make him a pleasure to be around, and he is ready for a family to call his own. He is great with dogs, kids and people of all ages and sizes. Food motivated and a pleaser, he is constantly willing to learn and has enough play to be an active companion and enough couch potato to live a companion dog life. We can’t say enough good things about this guy and pray that for Christmas this year we can get him into a home of his own! If interested in learning more about him, please reach out! Wants to be head of the pack and always wanting to know what you and everyone else in the house is doing. Alvin has lots of energy and pulls very hard when leashed up. He knows how to sit but most all other manners are a work in process. He does not care for the kennel but will settle after some time. Cats, Chickens, Small fluffy things, etc are all toys to him.TOGETHER THE SHELTER IS NOW EMPTY!! We helped rescue the last three left and dubbed the The Chipmunks! Meet Alvin, names suiting as his enthusiasm is boundless. He's the brave one!
