Story
Meet Korra, a beautiful and sweet husky mix who's ready to find her forever home! Currently in foster care, Korra is a smart dog with a heart of gold. Korra is a gentle giant who loves nothing more than cuddles and belly rubs. She's incredibly affectionate, often seeking out human companionship and snuggling her head against you. Her foster parent describes her as "one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met," which is high praise indeed! While Korra is still settling into her foster home, she's already shown a love for relaxing on the balcony and going for walks. She walks well on a leash, rarely pulling except when she spots another dog. Korra is fully house-trained and does well when left alone, showing only minor signs of anxiety. She's smart and alert, responding to her name even when distracted. While she doesn't yet know basic commands like "sit" or "stay," her intelligence suggests she'd be quick to learn with consistent training. Korra's stunning looks are sure to turn heads, especially once she's had a proper grooming session. But it's her sweet, loving nature that truly makes her stand out. As her foster parent says, "Someone needs to adopt her quick, because I will fall in love soon!" If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your days with love and your evenings with snuggles, Korra might just be the perfect dog for you. With some patience, training, and lots of love, she's sure to blossom into an amazing lifelong friend.

Story
Bluey is a gorgeous husky boy who came to APA from the Austin Animal Center. His owner surrendered him there due to not being able to afford medical treatment for a mass on Bluey's leg. The clinic here at APA removed the mass, and Bluey is healing up nicely! Bluey is a typical zany, friendly husky and would love to find a new loving home. He knows the sit, shake, come, down, and stay commands and is a very smart boy! And, Bluey is a cuddler! He is leash-trained and appears to be house-trained, too. Bluey would love an active home with outings and adventures to stimulate his body and mind. Do you have room in your life for an intelligent, energetic husky?
