Story
Elfie came to us when her prior home was not a good match for her because she is not good around other animals. She's done well with humans, but this small package has a high prey drive, and should not be around other animals. She has not done well meeting other dogs in her prior home, and we have not had a chance yet to do dog intros with her while at CVHS, so we are looking for a home where she can be the only animal.Elfie would do best with older kids (teenagers and up), and likes to cuddle, on her terms. She relaxes nicely in a crate, as long as there are no other animals around, and enjoys couch time getting belly rubs.If you know and love husky breeds, and all their typical quirks, Elfie could be the perfect single small dog for you!A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Elfie's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Elfie.
