But he is almost done healing now and he is ready to find his forever home. He has been great with other dogs of all sizes. He is kenneled with another dog and he does get protective over food since he was a stray and had to probably fight for food, but he has never attacked or anything like that and he's gotten a lot better now that he knows that food is not scarce anymore. He paid no attention to the cats when he was introduced. He does have husky energy so a home with previous husky experience would be preferred. An active couple or individual that will understand the joys of owning a husky. He is currently still in Oklahoma but he can only be adopted out state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport. Kevin is a sweet, snuggly, and loyal 1-year old husky mix. He’s such a sweetie, but I’m looking to rehome him due to personal health issues. He’s got the two cutest eyes — one bright blue and one carmel brown. He comes from a shelter that took him in after he was abandoned as a puppy. He’s comfy and safe with me now, but I’m excited for him to have his loving forever home. He’s crate-trained (loves his crate!), potty trained, and knows basic commands. I’ve never heard him bark or whine, he’s not a complainer. He’s timid with new dogs during an adjustment period, but then he’s fine and indifferent. Please reach out with any questions.

Willow is a 4.5-year-old mixed breed dog. She was found on the streets of California and rescued. She's a sweetheart at home who can be very athletic (loves to bound in the yard like a bunny) but more sprinter than marathoner. She is also a big snoozer and cuddler who curls up in a ball at your feet. Her main point of focus is that she is leash-aggressive towards other dogs. We want to find Willow a forever home that has the time and energy to work with her on this more than we can or that lives in an environment that does not consistently expose her to those scenarios (we live in the city in a neighborhood that is very dense with other dogs). She has a slight prey drive, so a home with cats would not be a good fit. She has not shown aggression towards humans. We have a 16 month old child and they get along (child has far more interest in Willow than Willow in our child, except when our child is eating - then they are best friends).
