Hi! My name is Star! I'm a sweet girl that likes to walk walk walk! I have a habit of climbing fences when unattended. I can in with my friend Blue when we were left behind. I like people of all ages but Blue isn't a fan as much. A home for both of us together is what we are looking for!

Story
Meet Kenai! Hey friends! My name is Kenai, and I'm am as handsome as they come! I'm a pretty special adult dog who needs someone in my life who will show me guidance and all the good things to do. I'm housetrained, but I'm not a fan of crates, but I'm not destructive if I need to be left alone. I'd really rather not be home by myself very often. I really attach myself to my person and love going everywhere with them, riding shotgun, of course! I'm good with other dogs, but since I love food so much, it's best that I'm fed by myself, but I've been working at being a good boy, and practicing not having to be in a different part of the house to eat. My style of play might be a little rough for smaller dogs, or since I think cats are really fun to chase, and shouldn't live with them, it might just be a small animal thing that I'm not a fan of. I love humans, but I don't think I should live with the little ones, as I'm a pretty strong, large 65 pound dog, and I would never want to knock them over or hurt them. I enjoy going on walks, but if I see a squirrel, walking is out of the question. Then we run! I'm normally pretty good with having slack in my leash, but sometimes I pull, and that's where a strong handler comes in. Actually, it's probably best if I have someone with husky experience. I can't be on a tie out, so I'll need to go for walks for potty breaks or have a very secured fenced-in yard. If you know huskies, you know that I'm everything great all rolled into one! I'm a talker, and needy (that classifies as great, right?), and obedient and active! I could stand to lose a few, or more, pounds to get myself to a healthy weight and make my joints happier in the long run, so I need someone who is active. We could go on hikes together, and I could help you train for that 5k you've been wanting to do! I'd love it if my new person works from home or I could go to work with them. Remember, I love humans and not fond of being left alone! I'm a really good boy, and trying to find my forever people at this point in life seems very daunting! Do you think you have what it takes to make me a happy guy for all the rest of my days? *Kenai is being fostered in the Janesville area. Story
Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! My name is Teddy ! 🧸 I am a 4 month old male. I weigh approximately 30 pounds. I look like a Husky and I’m staying in McHenry, IL while I wait for my Fur-Ever Family. 🥹My foster family says I am SUPER sweet, I LOVE ❤️ attention and I can be a little crazy at times too ! 🤪 I like to find a favorite human where ever I stay …someone I can follow around for extra love and attention. 🥰 Since I am a puppy, I LOVE to chew on my toys …and sometimes other things 😔 - but I am also smart 🤓 so I can easily be redirected back to my toys when I’m chewing on something I shouldn’t be chewing on. Speaking of smart …I have already learned to sit and lay !!Oh, have I mentioned how sweet I am ? I LOVE ❤️ EVERYONE and EVERYTHING !! I love my doggie 🐕 friends and kiddos! I like my 🐈 friends a little too much and would need a home that does not have any kitty friends.I have also been working on not 🚫 going potty 🚽💩 in the house, but I haven’t figured out a way to tell my humans I need to go NOW ! So, it’s still very much a work in progress. I’m pretty good at walking on a leash, 🦮 and I will only cry 😢 for a little while when I’m put in a crate. I normally get to sleep 😴 on a bed or on the couch. If you would like to be considered to adopt me, please fill out an adoption application under the link below. I am up to date on my age appropriate shots 💉 and also microchipped. My adoption fee is $500 plus a $150 deposit toward my future neuter. The $150 deposit may be returned once proof of my TIMELY neuter is given to Biggie Paws. 🐾https://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Duke has been with me since he was 6 months. He turned 4 on May 3rd. The biggest love bug a dog could be. Maintains an average weight of 59-62 pounds. Never barks obnoxiously at other animals or people, just the occasional talk back while playing. Enjoys walks and car rides, the snow, beaches and especially swimming. Like typical huskies, he's an escape artist at heart because he loves to explore. With us, anytime he'd slip away, he'd lead us on a chase and wouldn't come back until he found someone he'd never met and get caught while saying hi. VERY protective during my pregnancy, always staying by my side and becoming jealous when the hubs would show affection. Absolutely loves children, forgets that they're small but is very gentle. With my son being a menace, Duke has learned not to be food aggressive with people, not sure about other animals yet but he learns well. Ideally a fenced yard and a buddy would be perfect for him but a family to love him as much as I do, would suffice.
