Story
Lacey was found with another dog at a local park, and we later learned she is a product of divorce and given away to someone who decided to dump them instead.   We believe she is around 3-4 years old, she gets the zoomies but calms down quickly.  She walks well in a leash and loves her treats. Shes confident and loves everyone she meets..she tolerates cats, loves car rides and is crate trained.  Lacey isn't so wild about baths but with some treat motivation would be ok. Most of the time she is very quiet and is a big cuddle bug. If you could be Lacey's hero, please apply to foster or adopt at buttsmutts.com ##2309331##

Story
*I'm located in Georgia but can be transported* Name: Roxy Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Female/8 years old/10lbs Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Please see the special notes regarding Roxy's prior cancer diagnosis. House-trained/Crate-trained: I am fully house-trained and crate-trained, although my foster parents leave me out of the crate when they are not around. I spend most of my time sleeping anyways. Dogs/Cats/Children: I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I also don’t like cats very much. I have never been around children inside a home but I have met a couple on walks and I seem to like them. Energy Level: Low energy but I enjoy going on short walks. Before FAR/My History: Before coming to FAR, I was surrendered due to a cancerous mass. Since then, I have undergone three surgeries to remove the masses. There are no signs that the cancer has spread to other parts of my body. There is a possibility that the cancerous masses that were removed will come back. The type of cancer I had was an aggressive form of doggy breast cancer. However, I have been doing well and have been gaining weight under the care of my foster parents. Things I like: Cuddles, treats, and getting love. Things I don’t like: Loud noises. Ideal Family/Home: I am a senior dog with special needs, but I am still a loving and sweet companion. I am hoping to find a peaceful and comfortable place to spend my golden years. Special Notes: Roxy is a senior dog with special needs, and due to her cancer diagnosis may require extensive medical care. If you are interested in giving Roxy a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Huckleberry is all energy from morning till night. He needs a very active family without small children. He is bossy, so he would do best as an only dog. He is very affectionate, but because he lived his first three years on a chain, he is still learning to play. He loves stuffed animals and blankets, and is doing well on his crate training. We would like to find him a family that understands the Jack Russell breed.

Story
I adopted Biscuit from his previous owner, who unfortunately did not provide proper training or boundaries. He is currently 1 years old and full of energy. I am looking for a home that matches his high activity level and someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, has time for consistent training, and can provide him with the patience and structure he needs. Biscuit is playful, intelligent, and affectionate but also very stubborn and strong-willed. He thrives in an environment where he can be active and engaged. He is best suited for a home without cats or large dogs, as he has shown some reactivity. While he is potty trained and knows his commands, he needs someone who can reinforce discipline consistently. Ultimately, I want Biscuit to be in a home where he will be given the attention and energy he deserves. He is a great dog, but he needs a lifestyle that aligns with his personality.

Story
Howdy, everyone! Dolly here. I’m an outgoing girl who is good with most dogs and people. I was just spayed Oct. 8, and am now UTD on my shots, microchipped, and ready to roll after recovery. I am a sweet girl about 2 years old and am the “beige version” of my already-adopted sister, Penny (now Cookie). I am learning to walk on a leash and am really getting the hang of it. Before, I would just lie there like a brick and stare at you. Now I know it means we’re going on adventures! Woohoo! As with all of the rescues here, I will require a secure, above-ground fenced yard to keep me safe. https://www.jackrusselladoptions.org/adopt-a-dog/
