READY TO FIND MY PEOPLE: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi, my name is Hadley! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. At the shelter, I am enjoying making friends with the volunteers who come to care for me. I can’t wait to be in my new home, so come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old and a little younger at Mostly Mutts, and I should not live with children, as I got nervous and went after them when they ran around. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet and friendly girl who just needs a little time to warm up to you so we can become great friends. The volunteers knew how to go slower with me and then we become good friends, and my wonderful nature just shines through. They say that I am a smart girl and will likely pick up on your good vibes and become your best friend. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘come’ commands so far and I showed the photographer that I also know how to ‘shake’ during my photo session. I look forward to learning lots more – including polishing my leash skills as the leash is new to me, so check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts – it just took a day or two to get used to it. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy people’s company once I get to know them a little and I think that toys are fun, too, so let’s have some great play sessions. I’m looking forward to being your fun companion. / Other than the rambunctiousness of young children, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Hello, my name is Kenickie. I’m a sweet little old man looking for a forever home in which to spend my retirement years. I’m 12.5 years old, 14.5 pounds, and probably a Jack Russell Terrier mix. I’m a friendly little guy and warm up to new people quickly. I like to be near my person and am very much a lap dog. Although I’m a senior dog, I’m in good health and get around just fine. I’m crate trained but don’t really require one. I’m also good on leash. I’m house trained, but I need to go out every few hours. I also get along well with other dogs. I tend to mind my own business and am not interested in playing, but I’m content to be on the same couch with another dog as long as they let me be by my person. I don’t know if I’ve ever met a cat. I would prefer a quiet home without young children and for my person to be home more often than not because I need to potty every few hours and I just really enjoy being with my person. Being alone isn’t fun! I had a loving home for many years, but my person got sick and couldn’t keep me. I was so sad and scared, but I’m doing better now and can’t wait to find my new family! .
