He knows commands like sit, roll over, shake, and lay down, and hes fully potty trained. However, hell need some work with leash manners, gentle play, and basic training. This vocal little guy thrives on attention and loves having toys to chew and activities to keep him busy. He would do best in a home with no cats and possibly no other dogs, as hes selective about his friends. Look at us!! Terri and Frankie, we are two of the CUTEST and SWEETEST pups you will ever meet! We came from the pound when we were barely a week old, so you know we were bottle babies! And being bottle babies means one thing- YOU ARE OUR MAMA!!! (Bottle babies are very identified with their people, for they literally were saved and cared for day and LONG nights by a foster!) He loves adult humans, he can be dog selective. No cats or kids. He is typical JRT and has energy and needs to be kept busy. Best with no shared walls as he can bark at noises and if not kept busy. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit. Ethel is a playful, energetic terrier mix with the softest, sleekest coat you've ever felt. At around 2 1/2 years old, Ethel still has a lot of puppy energy! She loves playing with toys and going for walks. Super friendly, Ethel hasn't met a dog, child,or adult she doesn't love. While she gets along great with kids, her exuberance might not be the best match for very small children. Ethel does great in the car and loves being part of the action. She is an enthusiastic walker and is working on her leash manners. With some training, she could make a great running companion or a buddy for long daily walks. She doesn't love to be crated, but settles down within a few minutes if being crated during the day or for the night. She'll sleep through the night in her crate with no issues. She is house trained and will ask to go out when she needs to, but you can expect to have a few accidents as you learn each others' signals and schedules. Ethel would do great with someone at home but would also be a great dog for doggy daycare! Like many terriers, Ethel needs to have regular exercise and mental stimulation to be her best self. She is an affectionate, silly, playful and friendly dog who would truly shine with a family to provide her with a little more training and lots of love. Election was an incredibly scared girl, used too little to no human contact. She had also not been potty trained whatsoever when she arrived at her texan foster's home. She has been working with her texan foster family on potty training, and she almost has it down pat! She's come so far in the two months since she was rescued! She's a pretty low-key pup who enjoys watching TV on the lap of her Texan foster mom's 80 year old mother.. lol. She's ready to live the good life of daytime TV and treats when she gets to her new home here in Minnesota. Election is not kennel trained, and has been given free roam in her texan foster moms house with no negative consequences.
