We think he's probably a JRT mixed with some Maltese, but either way he's 100% adorable Lapdog. At 9lbs he loves to be held and be close to his human. Peanut is still learning that Toddlers make unexpected movements and noises that he's not a fan of, but they also drop food and treats, which is he a fan of, so he is learning trade-offs. He is realizing that "hiding" on the top of the Sofa back is out of reach for the toddler in his fosters home and can be used as a time-out safety spot. He follows the resident dogs and cats for outside time and is getting the hang of house training - until he's mastered that he is not complaining about wearing bellybands. Leash walking is still new to him and he's getting better, he does ride quietly in the car. Peanut is looking for a home with (older, calmer) children or without, preferably with another companion dog for him to learn from and follow. He may be able to handle regular working hours provide he receives sufficient exercise and attention around those hours. We want him to have a securely fenced yard. And, he definitely needs to be an inside dog. Spot requires a home with no cats or kiddos. There is a small rehoming fee. Meet Sunshine, a young, energetic furball who`s eager to play and explore. His curious nature means he`s always up for an adventure, whether it`s a new toy or a hidden corner of the yard. He likes agility, car rides, running, tugging, toys, water, wrestling, and chase. He weighs 27 pounds and is still perfecting his leash walking skills but he is already house trained. Sunshine is smart and independent, able to entertain himself yet always ready for a cuddle session. He knows the sit, stay, come, and down commands. Despite his independence, he`s incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready to give and receive love. He`s a bit afraid of baths and grooming, but with a gentle touch and lots of patience, he can overcome anything. His excitable nature means he`s always ready for fun, and his love for belly rubs and treats is unparalleled. He`s friendly and playful but a bit rough and jumpy around children, but with some training and patience, he can learn to adjust. For now, he`ll need to live with kids at least 15 years old. Sunshine has a penchant for chewing and digging, and he tends to bark at other dogs. He demonstrated in a foster home that he is friendly, playful, and rough with other pooches and likes dogs as active as he is. He is respectful around cats and prefers to ignore them. She is crate trained and sleeps in there at night. She loves to lay in the sun and on the patio furniture relaxing.She’s good with the other dogs in her Foster home. She is not a fan of car rides. When she goes in the car she must be in a crate for her safety and the drivers. She does need to be fed separate from other dogs in the house. She has the funniest and sweetest personality! Hello Chester here I was found by a young lady who brought me to my dad at the fire station. He called my mom and she picked me up. I was really young and skinny. After a checkup by my vet incase given a clean bill of health. I was neutered and microchiped to makes sure if I was lost I could be found. I'm partially house trained. I would need help.
