PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - MARLEY BREED - Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix SIZE - About 15 pounds fully grown AGE - born January 2024 GENDER - Male MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Marley is a perfect puppy! Not only is he adorable, but he is super sweet and very playful. This precious boy loves balls and loves being right beside his person. He will likely be 15 pounds or so when fully grown, a perfect size for most homes! Marley is in good health, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. A perfect dog deserves a perfect home! So we are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this amazing dog! A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give Marley room to run and play safely with his adopter. Marley is not well suited to small children who could be upset by his enthusiasm, or with larger pets who may accidentally hurt him, but will fit nicely into many other homes. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. Nina needs a new home by October! Meet Nina a sweet and energetic Jack Russell Terrier. Nina is 2 years old and looking for a home preferably with no pets. Nina can be shy at first but warms up quickly and starts cuddling you in no time. She is funny and loves to make you laugh. Whenever you are upset she will bring you a toy. She is just the sweetest dog and we’re hoping to find the best home for her. Please consider adopting this lovely girl.

Hi there, I'm Boo, a sweet and fluffy mixed breed (maybe Jack Russel Terrier and lab mix) with white fur and tan spots. I'm about 3-4 years old and weigh 55 pounds. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also house and crate trained. I'm looking for a loving and caring family who can give me a forever home. I'm a happy boy all the time who loves to play with other dogs. I would do well with children, but I recommend older kids because of my size and energy level. I have not been cat tested but can be if you’d like. I need some more training with walking on a leash because I get very excited on walks and pull a bit. I have a special need that you should know about. I have a badly healed left front broken leg. It doesn't bother me much and I can run and walk just fine. The vet says that as long as I'm not holding my leg up like I'm in pain, it's ok. But if it becomes painful, I might need to have my leg amputated. That's something you should consider before adopting me because it might lead to additional costs. I'm currently being fostered in Clemmons, NC, but can be transported to other states for my perfect match family. If you think you could be the one for me, please complete an application to let my rescue know you're interested in Boo. I can't wait to meet you and start our new journey together!
