Story
Quick Facts • Name: Cookie• Age: 6 years old• Gender: Male• Neutered: Yes• Breed: Collie Jindo mix• Colour: Golden beige• Weight: 18 kg All About Me Hello world! My name is Cookie and I’m currently 6 years old. When you first see me, you’ll just love the way I look. I have collie’s narrow head shape with silky golden-beige coat. Too bad I can’t show off my appearance now, but please do check my YouTube link attached (don’t forget to “Like” and “Subscribe” our channel heehee!) for details! You’ll just fall in love with me. Social Skills Did you know that I love hooman and furry friends? I just love everyone!!! Although I’m crate-trained, when you open the crate, I often jump and run only because I’m just so happy all the time. I’m full of curiosity, energy (not too much though), and love to greet new friends. Yes. I love socializing! When I meet new friends I usually approach them first. For hoomans, when I first meet them, I get so excited that I jump up and down. But don’t get me wrong. This doesn’t mean I’m being aggressive. So please be patient with me. I’m sure I can improve if you train me. Many hoomans describe me as an intelligent dog and I totally agree with it! It must be my collie DNA or something as I can easily tell how hoomans feel. I think I’m born with it. So again, if you train me, I know I’ll be a good companion. Cats? What’s that? I don’t even know who they are and I have no idea how I’ll react when I see them. Energy and Activities I enjoy outdoor activities, especially long-walks and hiking as I’m a good walker. It takes a lot of my energy so when I come home, I like to sit and rest peacefully. I usually don’t bark and stay nicely in a crate. I also don’t guard my food against hoomans and furry friends. I generally take my potty break outside. When I visit new places, I tend to mark so please keep that in mind. Special Notes I can still remember my first time entering my shelter back in 2018. I was a skinny little puppy and it’s already been 6 years ever since! Despite my time in the shelter, many hoomans say “Cookie is a great, calm dog.” I’m so ready to bring warmth and joy to your home! If you’re looking for a sweet, loving, and clever companion, I’m the one! Let’s make some wonderful memories together ##2260935##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Quick Facts  Name: Seolgi Age: 4 years old Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix  Color: Ivory  Weight: 14.5kg Heartworm: Treated January 3 2024 All About MeWelcome to my profile page everyone. This is Seolgi, a 4 year old Jindo mix boy, weighing 14.5kg. When you first see me, I will probably catch your attention with my appearance. Although I am Jindo mix, I rather look like a mix of Labrador Retriever and Pitbull with a clean ivory coat. Before I got rescued, I was on the leash (it was very short!!!) for 2 years. I had no food or water, but I survived for 2 years with whatever strangers offered me. Luckily, I got rescued by a kind human and I am now ready for my second chapter of my life. My PersonalityI like to socialize with people, but I might appear to be a bit shy in the beginning. But no worries. Offer me some treats and I can easily get along with you. Once I get comfortable, I will show you my belly (belly rub please!) and let you lift me up under my belly. Kids under 13 year old? I love kids! I think they are awesome! I like to hang out with kids and adults. Social SkillsNot only humans, but I also like to play with furry friends! I easily approach them as I want to play with them. I usually get along with almost everyone but for some reason, I cannot get along with boys that are big in size! But if anybody tries to pick up a fight, be aware because I will not step back!!! Oh, and if I ever get into a fight with anybody, I refuse to play with that specific one (I will never forget what happened…..?) So please keep an eye on me when I am with other friends. Sigh… A bit embarrassing to say, but when I was at the shelter, I often got into fights and got myself in trouble few times and maybe that is the reason why I might appear to be a bit shy in the beginning! With cats, I have seen them, but they did not draw my attention that much. I will probably need to get myself tested to find out more on this! Chickens? Ooooh! I saw chickens before! My friends went crazy when they saw chickens, but I had zero interest at all. Energy and ActivitiesWith lack of walk experience, I cannot say I am a pro. I tend to stop and sniff often during my walk. I prefer to walk in a quiet area rather than busy roads where there are cars everywhere. When I get frightened, I might stop and lie down on my belly. My energy level is fairly high so if you want me to relax quietly at home, please provide me sufficient amount of outdoor activities on a daily basis. Training and HabitsI recently had my guarding test done. Hmm.. I do not guard against people (because I love them so much) but I growl ? at other furry ones if they approach me too close while I am eating! Personal space guys!!! Step back when I eat!!!!!! So if you hear me growling, that means I do not want to get distracted while I am eating. I might also bark when there I see strangers or if there is anything that I need that requires a human’s attention. I got my crate-training done and I am confident that I can stay calm inside. As I mentioned before, I get scared of cars. So when I need to get inside the car, I may need a bit of your help. Just give me a lift, and I will get in. For potty breaks, I prefer to go outside and do my business. When I visit new places, there is a chance that I might start marking as well. Special NotesI am an absolute human-lover who needs my forever home and family. My childhood was lonely, and I do not really have good memories so far. But thankfully I got rescued and I am now getting myself prepared to meet my own family for the first time! If you are looking for an affectionate companion, please talk to my team about it! ##2260970##

Story
I’m in Toronto Foster home Once a stray, this furry friend found themselves at a city shelter, facing an uncertain fate on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, a compassionate rescuer spotted this sweet soul and made the decision to give them a second chance. At first, I might seem a bit shy, but rest assured, I warm up quickly, especially when there are delicious treats involved. With some positive encouragement, I’m more than happy to become your best friend and allow even strangers to hold, lift, and carry me with ease. Once I’m at ease, I’ll proudly show my belly, inviting those cherished belly rubs. I’m still not comfortable when people are too close when I’m eating so if you can give me a space to enjoy the meal by myself that would be much appreciated. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a gentle spirit. I’ll approach them with a soft hello, though I’m less likely to engage in playful interactions. If another dog appears uncomfortable or shy, I’ll gracefully give them space, prioritizing a peaceful encounter. Though I’ve never encountered a cat, my demeanor and energy levels suggest I’m less likely to chase small animals. My energy is on the lower side, making me a calming presence in any household. While walking, my excitement may lead me to pull a bit, but I’m quick to settle and follow the handler with grace. Sharing is caring, and I’m all about it—I don’t guard resources from people or other dogs. Barking isn’t a habit of mine, and I’ve mastered crate training. When I’m in a room by myself I do destroy few things but once i feel comfortable around the space and know that it’s a safe zone, that behaviour will change for sure. My ideal family would be a home where I can meet other dogs, as I get frustrated and panic when I am left alone without any friend. If you’re seeking a low-energy, calm, and gentle dog, I’m the perfect addition to your home. I’ll sit beside you, gazing lovingly with adoration in my eyes. Pets and scratches bring me immense joy—I’ll even close my eyes, wearing a big smile, revelling in your attention. Now, about my diet—I may gain weight a bit faster than other dogs, but fear not, I’m not overly food-obsessed. I’m simply a delightful companion who enjoys your company and the occasional treat. Let’s make beautiful memories together—your love and attention will complete my story. ##2260927##

Quick Facts  Name: Toffee Nut Age: 4 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Orange & Brown All About MeMy name is Toffee Nut, and I’m here to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 4-year-old male Jindo mix, and let me tell you, my journey hasn’t been the smoothest. You see, I was born to a stray mom wandering around redevelopment areas. While all my other siblings found loving homes, I was left behind, until I was rescued all on my own. My PersonalityNow, I may take a little time to warm up to strangers, but once you offer me some treats and shower me with compliments, I’m all ears! I absolutely adore people, and I’m not shy about showing it. I’ll come up to you, wagging my tail, ready to charm you with my sweet personality and cute little antics. While I get along well with other dogs at the shelter, I’m not overly interested in making new doggy friends right away. I’ll greet them politely, but I’d much rather spend my time with humans. However, if another dog tries to pick a fight with me, I won’t back down, so it’s important to keep an eye on me during introductions. Energy and ActivitiesI’m quite the experienced walker, so you won’t have to worry about me pulling on the leash. When we’re out and about, I tend to focus more on the people around me than any cats we might pass by. Training and HabitsI prefer doing my business outdoors and I’m okay with people around while eating, but if another dog approaches while I’m munching, I might growl a bit. I’m not much of a barker, but I’ll definitely let you know if I need something with a demand bark. Special NotesOverall, I’m just a lovable guy looking for my forever home. If you’re willing to give me a chance, I promise to fill your life with love, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. So, what do you say? Shall we embark on this journey together? ##2260950##

Story
Hello, I’m Ttori! Hey there, future family! I’m Ttori, a 1-year-old Jindo mix with a fluffy white coat that’s just perfect for petting. I’m a healthy boy, weighing in at 20.85 kg and standing 58 cm tall. My past was a bit rough, being tied up on a short rope, but I was lucky enough to be rescued and now I’m ready for a loving home. A Little About MeI’m the kind of dog who loves to love. I’ll nuzzle up to anyone, friend or stranger, and if you scratch my belly, we’re friends for life. I haven’t had the chance to meet many kids yet, but I’m eager to make friends of all sizes. My Social LifeI’m a social guy who enjoys meeting new canine pals, especially those who match my size or are a bit smaller. I’m all about playtime and good vibes, but I like to take it slow when meeting new dogs to make sure we get along. My AdventuresI’ve got energy to spare, so I’m looking for someone who loves the great outdoors as much as I do. I’m a pro at walking nicely on a leash, but I get a little spooked by loud noises, so I’d love a patient guide to help me become braver. My Manners and HabitsI’m a gentleman when it comes to food—I don’t guard it from humans, but I might tell another dog to back off if they get too close while I’m eating. I’m not much of a barker, but I’ll let you know if there’s a stranger about. My Dream HomeI’m searching for a forever home where I can get lots of exercise and playtime. I need a family that understands my high spirits and is ready for the fun and joy I bring. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion, I’m your guy! I’m also super approachable with strangers, always ready to spread positive vibes and make new friends. 🐾 Dog-Friendly and Social: I get along wonderfully with other dogs, whether they’re big or small. Thanks to my social nature and past experiences, I can adapt well in environments with other furry friends. 🏡 Adaptable to Home Life: I’ve lived in a home before and have experience with family life, so I’m confident I can easily adjust to my new surroundings. Story
Jjalbong is an incredibly affectionate and charming pup who was rescued from a shelter. His sweet and adaptable personality has helped him settle into new environments quickly and easily. With his unique leopard-like coat pattern and short legs, Jjalbong is as adorable as he is special. At just 11 months old, Jjalbong is still a playful puppy who loves spending time with other dogs. He gets along wonderfully with them, and his friendly demeanor makes him irresistible to both humans and other pups. Even when other dogs bark or nibble at him, Jjalbong remains unbothered and approaches them with enthusiasm. While his playfulness might feel a bit intense for some dogs, he thrives with companions who share his energy level. Jjalbong warms up quickly to strangers, making him an easygoing and sociable companion. However, since he’ll be traveling overseas on a 14-hour flight and moving to a new environment, he’ll need time to adjust. Giving him the space and patience to come to you on his own terms will allow his bubbly and loving personality to shine through. On walks, Jjalbong loves exploring his surroundings and may pull on the leash occasionally, especially when he needs to potty or spots pigeons, cats, or other dogs. He’s currently in training to improve his leash manners. Sometimes, he gets so excited that he behaves a bit rambunctiously, but he responds well to gentle corrections and is improving every day. Jjalbong has a special love for grass, often rolling around or lying in grassy areas to his heart’s content. He has no known food allergies or picky eating habits and is fully potty-trained for outdoor environments. While he doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety at the moment, this may change depending on his living situation. He is generally quiet but might bark occasionally at sounds like bicycles passing by the house. A quick “no” or stepping in front of him usually stops the barking. Jjalbong is ready to bring his boundless affection and joyful energy to a loving family. His playful and endearing personality is sure to fill your home with happiness and laughter! Story
Laon is a 10-month-old Jindo born in Bukhansan Mountain in South Korea. Both his mother and father are Jindo dogs, and thanks to their genetics, he has grown rapidly and now weighs 18 kilograms. His coat is a charming brown-yellow and his appearance is that of a typical Korean Jindo. He has a lively character, and he loves to play with toys. Since being rescued, he has been raised and socialized with people and is now undergoing obedience training at a training camp. He has strong social skills, and he loves to play with his dog friends of all sizes. He doesn’t have any experience with cats, but given the nature of the Jindo breed, it seems unlikely that he will get along well with cats. Even though he's big, he's still a 10-month-old puppy who likes showing off his active personality. When you get to know him, he's very affectionate and assertive. He couldn’t go on walks very well at first, but now he's training and adjusting very well. He’s not fully potty trained yet but we have been training him to relieve himself on the training camp’s playground without any problems. After adoption, if you take a walk at a fixed time or continue to potty train in an environment with a yard, you should expect good results. Laon is not obsessed with eating, easily shares food with his friends, and does not provoke or bully small dogs. However, it should be noted that he can sometimes seem intense for small dogs because he does not realize how large he is. Like most Jindo dogs, he is loyal to his owner and when he forms a bond with his owner, he is completely devoted and loyal to that person. After adoption, he may need time to adjust to unfamiliar environments and people, but if you give him time to settle in, he will grow into a truly loyal companion. Adopting Laon is highly recommended for anyone who has a deep understanding of Jindo dogs, and we hope that you will help him grow into a wonderful companion through continuous training. Time with Laon will be a special experience.

Story
Here's what the humans have to say about me: Soonjin is a two-year-old male dog, believed to be a Jindo and Samoyed mix, who was rescued from a shelter just before being euthanized. He has a calm and quiet personality and a beautifully thick and soft coat that adds to his charm. True to the Jindo breed, Soonjin is highly loyal to a single owner. He carries himself with a dignified, gentlemanly demeanor, never engaging in fights or barking excessively. He prefers spending time alone rather than socializing with other dogs. However, he is not overly cautious and once trust is established, he enjoys human touch and allows people to pet him without hesitation. His eating habits are also remarkably composed. Instead of eating hastily, he takes his time savoring his food. His approach to people is equally gentle and careful—rather than rushing up excitedly, he quietly sits nearby, waiting patiently, which perfectly reflects his personality. At the training center, Soonjin follows a routine of going outside three times a day for bathroom breaks, resting quietly on his own, and then returning to his space. He might have some accidents inside at first while he adjusts to a new environment, but with patience and encouragement for outdoor potty training, he will adapt well. In a new home, he may initially feel sensitive to unfamiliar surroundings. It’s important to give him ample time to open up rather than trying to rush the bonding process. During walks, Soonjin displays perfect leash manners, walking calmly without pulling. Soonjin is both loyal and dignified and has an unshakable trust and presence. While he may have the typical sensitivity of a Jindo, once he forms a bond and recognizes his owner, he shows affection and becomes a composed yet loving companion.

May is a stunning 3-year-old Jindo girl with a perfect balance of beauty, grace, and charm. Rescued just in time from a shelter, she isn’t just pretty—she has a wonderful personality to match! At first, May can be a little cautious and reserved, but once she warms up, she’s full of love and sweet affection. With just a little patience (and maybe a few treats!), she quickly opens up and forms deep bonds. Once she sees you as her person, she will be loyal, loving, and always by your side. May gets along well with other dogs but has a true Jindo spirit—she’s independent and prefers playing with select friends rather than every pup she meets. However, her favorite thing is spending quality time with people. She’s polite on walks, doesn’t pull on the leash, and enjoys peaceful strolls. She is used to a structured routine and will adapt well to a new home with consistency and patience. May is looking for a loving family that understands the devoted and faithful nature of Jindos. If you’re ready to build a trusting bond, she will become the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ever ask for! Story
Noah is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed dog, likely a Jindo mix, with an adorable pattern resembling white socks on one paw and a patch of white fur on his chest. He was abandoned at a shelter as a puppy and was rescued when he was about one year old. After a life in the shelter, he is now enjoying the play and freedom he was deprived of during his early months. Noah loves interacting with people and enjoys playing around with them. He is friendly and gets along well with other dogs, especially those whose personalities match his own. He is a foodie, with a great love for eating. Currently, he’s learning basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘lie down’, and being quick to pick them up thanks to his intelligence. Noah enjoys walks and, as a young dog, is full of curiosity and energy. However, after enough outdoor activities and playtime, he is happy to rest and relax indoors. He especially loves running and playing in the park or spending quality time with his owner. As a male dog, Noah may mark his territory in new environments, but this behavior is expected to decrease as he becomes more familiar with his space and feels secure. Given his high energy and love for outdoor activities, Noah thrives in an environment that provides ample playtime and walks. With proper training and consistent bonding, he will grow into a loyal and devoted companion.
