Story
Meet Andy Andy was staying at Korean City shelter with her mom Yua and her four siblings. Maybe because of Yua's bad skin condition, the babies were in bad conditions and some were died.. We urgently rescued them before the harsh cold winter comes. * with People: Not shy. Loves people so much! She tries to be with a familiar person and asks to play with. Such a playful cute baby girl❣️ * with Dogs: got along well with other dogs at the center but hasn't met dogs in the foster home because her vaccinations're not finished. * Separation anxiety: Never been alone for a long time yet. But in a short time, she does well alone. * Potty training: She uses a pee pad well.👍 * Hygiene: Doesn't like bathing and combing but takes gently. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @imbo_andy

Story
Meet Ssari! Ssari’s journey began when she was spotted wandering along a busy four-lane road in March 2024, around 5-6 months old. We couldn’t resist stepping in to bring her to safety, and now she’s ready to find her forever home! When it comes to people, Ssari can be a little shy at first, but with a tasty treat, she quickly warms up and is happy to be petted. Occasionally, she’ll even approach and ask for affection right away, especially if she feels comfortable with someone from the start—this applies to men too! Ssari is gentle with children under 13 and handles interactions with them like a pro. She’s so trusting that she’ll even let you scoop her up by putting an arm under her belly. Ssari is equally charming with other dogs. She’s naturally social and enjoys introducing herself to new canine friends. She’s especially friendly with dogs her size or larger and does her best to avoid conflict, even when provoked. Whether it’s playtime or just hanging out, Ssari fits in beautifully with most dogs. On walks, Ssari is a delight. She’s calm and gentle, even when spotting cats, birds, or other animals. Her curiosity may draw her attention for a moment, but she’ll follow your lead without any fuss. While she hasn’t lived with cats before, her outdoor manners suggest she could adjust well with proper introductions. With a moderate energy level, Ssari is the perfect balance of playful and relaxed. She loves outdoor activities but settles down quietly once she’s back inside. Her leash manners are impeccable—she doesn’t pull and stays close by. Though she might get startled by sudden noises or surprises, she recovers quickly and stays by your side. Ssari is as easygoing as they come. She’s not protective over food, whether it’s with people or other dogs. If she’s feeling excited, she might express it with a few barks, but she’s otherwise a calm and well-behaved companion. She’s also crate-trained and incredibly comfortable traveling in one. As a bonus, she’s accustomed to doing her business outdoors. Ready to welcome Ssari into your life? She’s a sweet, well-rounded pup with so much love to give! Story
Bank is a 3-year-old white Jindo Mix with an affectionate personality. He is very fond of people and gets along well with children and adults alike, and he most enjoys being loved by people. Bank also gets along well with other dogs and loves to run around and play with them. However, he has a strong curiosity towards cats, so a cat-free home is more suitable for him. Bank has very little separation anxiety. He is also well behaved on car rides and very much enjoys them. He would be a very good fit for frequent travelers and active families. Bank is fully potty trained and only relieves himself outdoors. He is also very good during bath time and will even let you brush his teeth! 😃 Bank loves to go for walks. On his first walk with us, his excitement level was so high that he pulled on his leash. Since we started his training, he has shown significant improvement and now his concentration has improved to the point where he can make eye contact while walking. Bank is looking for his forever home where he can share warm love with his new family. He has a neat personality and would love for you to be part of the vibrant and loving Bank family.

Story
Meet Gamdong – Your Sweet, Spirited Companion! Hi there! I’m Gamdong, and my name means “moved” or “touched” in Korean. I hope my story touches your heart! Breed: Jino/Welsh Corgi MixAge: 6 MonthsGender: Female    Weight: 16.5 lb   Height: 35 cmHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, affectionate, playful I was born in a loving foster home after my mama dog was rescued from the euthanasia list. She was an amazing mom, making sure my five sisters and I always had enough milk and love to grow strong and happy. When I was 3 months old, I went to a foster home where my foster dad helped me explore the world and meet lots of new friends. Now, I’m living in a new foster home with a friendly small dog, a shy cat, and some kids—quite the little crew! I’m naturally bright and high-spirited, and I love getting attention from people. I’m affectionate and enjoy being petted and lifted—my soft fur makes it hard for anyone to resist! Here’s what I’m like: I love dogs of all sizes and am always excited to meet new ones. I’m pretty forward when introducing myself, which some dogs might find a bit much, but I mean well! Playtime is my favorite, especially if it involves a furry friend. When it comes to cats, I’m curious but respectful. I encountered some cats on the street before and didn’t bother them, just kept on my way. At my foster home, there’s a shy kitty who prefers to stay hidden, so I’m doing my best to give them space. I’m still a puppy, so I have a high energy level and love to zoom around sometimes. I also enjoy bird-watching (okay, bird-chasing—but I’ve never caught one, and I probably never will). What makes me special: Friendly and affectionate with people—I love being part of the action! Crate-trained and calm during car rides (no carsickness for me!). I’m 80% housetrained. In new places, I might have an accident or two, but I’m learning quickly. I rarely bark and don’t have separation anxiety or an escape tendency. A few things to keep in mind: On walks, I get very excited and distracted, so you’ll need to hold my leash tightly. I’m still learning to focus! I’m still in my puppy phase, so I’d love a family who can help me burn off my energy with playtime, walks, and maybe some fun training sessions. I’m a huge fan of chew toys—they’re a must in my future home! If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited pup with lots of love to give, I could be your perfect match. Let’s meet and start making memories together—I promise to bring lots of joy to your life! Love,Gamdong Energy Level: At the moment, I have a high energy level. (I'm still in my puppyhood). I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: YesKids: Yes Fears: None observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Leash skills: Yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Yes 80%, in new places, I make accidents. But I'm a very smart puppy and I'm confident will master that soon.  Health notes: I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2270579##

Story
Meet Berry, a sweet and affectionate 5-6-month-old, 8kg mix and sibling to Haley and Delta. Berry is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets—whether it’s a familiar face or a stranger, she’ll happily nuzzle up for attention and doesn’t hesitate to invite belly rubs, even from new friends. She’s especially gentle and patient with children under 13, making her a wonderful companion for families. Berry’s friendly nature extends to other dogs, too. She’s quick to greet both old pals and new canine friends, always ready for a play session. Even when other dogs get a little too pushy, Berry prefers to avoid conflict and stays calm. She tends to feel more secure when other dogs are around, so a home with another pup could be a great fit. On walks, Berry’s curiosity is well-balanced with focus. While she may glance at a passing cat, she quickly redirects her attention to her person and follows their lead. With a moderate energy level, she enjoys outdoor adventures but settles down easily afterward for some quiet relaxation. She pulls on the leash occasionally but is generally attentive and eager to follow your guidance. Berry is also impressively polite—she doesn’t guard her food or resources and is rarely vocal. This adaptable pup is comfortable with both indoor pee pads and outdoor pottying. She’s calm in a kennel and doesn’t mind car rides. Berry’s early life was tough—she and her siblings were rescued after being swept away in floodwaters, separated from their mother, who had been tied up in a field. Despite this, Berry has blossomed into a gentle, loving soul ready to bring joy and warmth to her forever family. Could that be you? Story
Meet Geumgang🧡 She was left in front of Adogs center in South Korea, in a box with a memo that she was discovered in the mountains. She was with Yeonhee and Hanla in the box, and Adogs rescued them. * With People: Loves people so so much! When she's with a familiar person, she approaches a stranger first. * With Dogs: no problem with other dogs at the center. * Separation Anxiety: have safety anxiety or wheezing. She's still a baby, so she needs a steady training. * Potty Training: 80% accuracy on a pee pad. Don't know about outdoor potty because she hasn't walk outside yet (she hasn't finished her basic shots) * Hygiene: she's scared of water, but she does well received in foster's arms! She's afraid of the sound of a dryer, so the foster wiped her with a towel and then dry her. She takes a brush her teeth very well! * Walk: taking a nose walk in her foster's arm because she's not fully vaccinated yet. * Car sickness: comfortably lying down or sleeping without motion sickness. * Mastered commands: sit, paw. She's learning 'lie down'. * She likes to be with people rather than alone. She is insensitive to noise or external stimuli and has a curious personality! 💙 Foster's Instagram: @go_geumgang
