Meet Rufus! This loving boy came from a small home with many cats. He is now in a foster home exploring this new world, finding out what a backyard is, toys, treats, and cuddles. His foster mama says Rufus tends to be a night owl, always having energy late in the night having zoomies and chasing toys.More about Rufus:- loves cuddles- wants a bed in every room- afraid of stairs (sometimes)- has own version of fetch- terrified of walksRufus will need a home with lots of patience since everything is new to him. his wonderful foster family has done excellent work with providing a safe space for him and getting him to open up. We are looking for a calm and quiet home for him to blossom. To learn more about Rufus and possibly meet him, please give us a call 604-463-9511 Primary Color: Brown Weight: 26 Age: 5yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
Young Rudy, born Feb 2024 was found one morning as a very young puppy buried in dirt near the shelter. He was taken into the SPCA PV sanctuary, and they learned that he was buried to soothe burns on his back where his hair is now discoloured. He currently weighs approximately 40 lbs, we think he’ll grow to be about 50 lbs. He was lucky that one of our sweet mamma pups Keisha took him under her wing to give him the love he should still get as a young pup. He’s a playful boy that would love a yard and adventures, and maybe even a welcoming dog friend. He has been good with cats (though exposure is limited). Rudy is healthy and ready to fly. He is currently at the SPCA PV sanctuary in Mexico, and will be able to fly to Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton (possibly also Vancouver island). If you think you might be the lucky home for him, write us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself, or go direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw

Story
Born August 2024, Sabrina is one of our Charlie’s Angel’s puppies. Her and her sisters were found young, abandoned and full of fleas, ticks and hungry, near our sanctuary in Puerto Vallarta. They are beautiful AND smart. Sabrina and her sisters have been popular with tourists at the Saturday market - loving the cuddles and admiration of strangers. She is good with people, dogs and cats. She’s wiggly, smart and full of personality . Sabrina is healthy, and happy but would be much happier with a family all her own! We expect her to grow to 35ish lbs. If you think you might be a fit, email us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or you can go direct to our application here: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw.
