Story
We have a 4 year old labradoodle needing to rehome, Ringo. We’ve had behavior issues with him and have a baby on the way in about 4 weeks. Unfortunately, we don’t want to take any chances with a baby being brought into play. He is a great dog, very intelligent and aware. He can be grumpy in the mornings, snappy, & on edge. He loves playing fetch, tug-a-war, and ear/butt scratches. He loves walking through your legs in the morning for his butt scratches. The best way to explain him is similar to a cat. Ringo wants to be messed with, when he does. He’ll come to you when he wants pets and such. We’ve had him since he was a puppy. We currently have him and a dalmadoodle as well. They typically play great together and get along, however I feel our dalmadoodle antagonizes him and Ringo likes to be left alone often. However, he loves attention in other ways and loves people/visitors. Ringo is very healthy and up-to-date on all vaccines/etc. Ideally no children, single dog home.

These pups are in Bloomington, Illinois too!

Story
Meet Bear, a 7-year-old Lab mix with an 85-pound frame and an even bigger heart. Bear is fully house-trained and crate-trained, often heading to his crate on his own when he wants to rest. However, he’s such a good boy that he can be trusted to roam freely around the house. Whether it’s snuggling in bed with you or finding his own cozy spot, Bear loves being close to his humans. Don’t let his age fool you—Bear has plenty of energy! He enjoys two walks a day, each around half a mile to a mile long. With his stamina and playful nature, he thrives on exercise and would be thrilled to have a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and play. Bear doesn’t know a stranger. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and people of all ages. His enthusiasm for making new friends is so strong that he might just pull you over to say hello. Whether it’s a furry friend or a new human, Bear is always eager to make a connection.  This is another reason that fence will come in handy. Bear is strong and would likely break a tie-out if he really wanted to go say hello and make new friends. This smart pup knows all the basic commands like sit, stay, down, and heel. He walks nicely on a leash, staying to his person’s right side, and even sits patiently at crosswalks—though he might need a reminder if another dog catches his eye. At home, Bear is pretty chill. He enjoys lounging around, following his person from room to room, and chewing on hard bones (soft toys don’t stand a chance!). His friendly, outgoing, and happy nature makes him a joy to have around. His ideal family will appreciate his energetic spirit, enjoy his playful antics, and love his affectionate nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, Bear is your guy. Adopt Bear and discover just how wonderful life can be with a furry best friend by your side!   His minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.    He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Zoey, a sweet and loving 5 year-old Mini Aussie Doodle weighing 43.7 pounds ready to find her forever home! Zoey is house trained and stays in an indoor dog pen at her foster home. She willingly goes into the pen when there's food or a treat waiting for her. While Zoey loves food, she's a bit overweight beneath all her fur, and she’ll benefit from a healthy diet with limited or healthy treats. Zoey enjoys spending time in the yard and going for leisurely walks, though she prefers cooler weather for her outdoor adventures. Car rides are another favorite activity, and she cherishes 1-on-1 time with her person. She gets along well with the small and medium-sized dogs in her foster home, though she takes a little time to feel safe with new people and dogs. Due to her tendency to chase cats, a cat-free home is recommended. Zoey is good with respectful and calm kids aged 13 and up, understanding that she needs to feel safe before she’ll warm up to them. Described as friendly, reserved at first but outgoing once comfortable, adaptable, happy, and loyal, Zoey is a wonderful companion. Her foster mom shares, "Once Zoey feels comfortable, she is a happy, bouncy, loving girl who gives sweet kisses. She loves to be brushed and have her hair done." If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will thrive with a bit of patience and lots of love, Zoey could be the perfect match for you! Her minimum adoption fee is $295 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
