WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Gucci - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Gucci, an Italian luxury apparel for that added finesse to any lifestyle!! I am 'ready to wear' (or I guess more like ready to go)... just attach a leash, I goes with...everything!!! I'm around a year and a half and come in at about 60lbs. I am searching for a fur-ever home due to no fault of my own. My 2legged sibling gets terrible anxiety when me and my 4legged sibling play too much. :( So, with breaking hearts they are doing what's best for all involved. I do pawsomely with people both tall and small and I love playing with other pups. We're unsure about cats as I haven't had the chance to meet any of them yet. I am already housetrained for my new family, which is great news, it lets us get right to the fun stuff!! I'm a Doodle, so I'm active, sweet, loving and ready at all times for an action packed adventure. I will need an active family that will give me plenty of exercise in both physical and mental stimulation. I've got a whole bunch of love stored up, just ready to be unleashed. Add in my many fabulous personality traits and I'm gonna make a perfect family addition. Could you be the lucky 'ONE' to reap the rewards of all this!!!! Hurry, fill out my adoption application, it can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Found two months ago attempted to find the owner, but no luck. He is a playful young doodle. He’s a little skittish on a leash likes to hump other dogs, but most likely due to the fact that he still intact he would need to be neutered before going to new owners . He appears to be housebroken, but I do take him out often. He’s young and chews on Shoes. The new owners would have to be vetted.

Story
Cody is sweet, fun, loves cuddles, likes to play fetch and tug of war, loves walks in the forest or by the lake. He loves to play with other dogs and kids. Unfortunately because of my knee issues and other health concerns,I’m not able to take care of him anymore. As a single mom, I’m now working 2 jobs to make ends meet and I cannot give him the time he deserves and needs outside. Once on a walk, a neighbor called him “hi Cody!” And we taught him how to hug so he take her huggie and when he jumped up, he inadvertently scratched her arm a tiny bit so the girl said “I’m fine” but then later called the police and our Cody was deemed “potentially dangerous” for jumping up. Now he must be walked by someone 18 or older and none of my 3 kids are 18. Also if he’s not on a chain or in a fenced in area, he needs to wear a muzzle. Please consider adopting our beloved sweet loving Cody.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fallon is a wise, old soul. He is a Lab/Shepherd X with an approx DOB of 1/20/2022. He’s taking in new experiences as if he’s done all this before! Nothing is too urgent, except for meal time! He loves play time with other dogs and older children. He hasn't had a lot of exposure to children under the age of 10 so slow, controlled intros are advised. He has a nose to hunt and playfully enjoys chasing the chipmunks out of their hiding spots around the yard. He's quite an outdoor explorer, never quite ready to come inside. That being said, he quickly learned the underground fence boundaries and is no longer pushing the limits. He is crate trained, but as he gets older he's more and more comfortable outside of his crate and sometimes needs treat motivation to go in on his own. He loves hugs and snuggles and is always open to curling up in an available lap. Fallon is a medical needs dog. He has urinary incontinence, which requires him to wear belly bands at all times. He is on a strong dose of Proin 2x per day and a monthly testosterone injection, which helps some but he will always be a leaky boy. Changing his pads in his belly band a couple times per day is going to be very important to maintaining his hygiene to avoid urine scalding (burning of the skin due to prolonged exposure to urine). Commands he has learned include “sit”, “down”, “inside”, “outside” and “kennel”. He is making progress with stay, wait, stop and come. He has been with Wags & Whiskers since he was about 10 weeks old but as you can imagine it has taken the rescue a while to figure out what was "wrong" with him. He is now finally ready to find his forever family and we are hoping that his anotomical issues won't deter him from finding a home. He really is a sweet boy that will need a special adopter that is home often and willing to work with his leaky faucet Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Elsie and I am a Lab X  with a DOB of 10/22/22 (approx. 50lbs). I am a native to Minnesota where I was found roaming the streets in St Paul. Animal Control was kind enough to give me a lift as I thought it was to my home, but it was to the nearest doggie jail where no one claimed me.   I would like to mention a few characteristics I have that make me stand out from the doggie crowd. -  I hop like a bunny around the yard. -  I patrol the yard for squirrels, rabbits & cats. No one gets past this girl’s watchful eye. -  I am non-reactive with other dogs – I just want to play with them. -  I have a 4’ 5” vertical jump.  6’ fence is recommended -  I Pounce on tennis balls while I play with them. I like to ride a shotgun when it comes to car rides. They make a doggie seat belt as I have been told and I guess that should be used for any car rides in the future. I am learning not to dash out the door when it’s open.  I’m just very excited to follow my foster mom wherever she goes. I love toys, but I don’t share them with other animals. You just need to take all my toys, hide them and I can play with other dogs in harmony.  I have been known to escape my kennel. Because of this I now have my own “No Break Kennel”. This now keeps me out of trouble when I’m home alone. I am not a fan of the kennel, but I settle down quickly.   I tend to pull on the leash, so my foster mom bought me a hot pink gentle leader (I'm the prettiest girl on the block now) and is teaching me basic commands such as heal and stay for starters.  I have to say, so far so good as I do enjoy my walks in the neighborhood.  I am still working on potty training.   What kind of home would do best for me: -  Active home that can release my spirited energy and have dog stimulation toys. -  I am food motivated and this works great for training. -  Be patient as I am still young and learning. -  Love me with all your heart as I will do the same.      Are you my forever home?      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
