I'm around a year and a half and come in at about 60lbs. I am searching for a fur-ever home due to no fault of my own. My 2legged sibling gets terrible anxiety when me and my 4legged sibling play too much. :( So, with breaking hearts they are doing what's best for all involved. I do pawsomely with people both tall and small and I love playing with other pups. We're unsure about cats as I haven't had the chance to meet any of them yet. I am already housetrained for my new family, which is great news, it lets us get right to the fun stuff!! I'm a Doodle, so I'm active, sweet, loving and ready at all times for an action packed adventure. Found two months ago attempted to find the owner, but no luck. He is a playful young doodle. He’s a little skittish on a leash likes to hump other dogs, but most likely due to the fact that he still intact he would need to be neutered before going to new owners . He appears to be housebroken, but I do take him out often. He’s young and chews on Shoes. The new owners would have to be vetted.

Cody is sweet, fun, loves cuddles, likes to play fetch and tug of war, loves walks in the forest or by the lake. He loves to play with other dogs and kids. Unfortunately because of my knee issues and other health concerns,I’m not able to take care of him anymore. As a single mom, I’m now working 2 jobs to make ends meet and I cannot give him the time he deserves and needs outside. Once on a walk, a neighbor called him “hi Cody!” And we taught him how to hug so he take her huggie and when he jumped up, he inadvertently scratched her arm a tiny bit so the girl said “I’m fine” but then later called the police and our Cody was deemed “potentially dangerous” for jumping up. Now he must be walked by someone 18 or older and none of my 3 kids are 18. Also if he’s not on a chain or in a fenced in area, he needs to wear a muzzle. I am a lovely young adult female Lab/Shepherd mix who loves eating all treats (who doesn’t LOL!!), tearing stuffed toys apart, sleeping and hunting squirrels. Foster mom says I am in charge of the backyard activity and do my best to keep the squirrels out of the yard. I would love a fenced in yard to explore, but also love going for walks, so it's not required as long as you promise we can take some short walks each day! As you have probably already figured out, I have a high prey drive, so small kids and cats are not a good fit for me. Ok, truth be told, I don’t “hunt” the kids, just the cats but still, I am not crazy about those quick moving kids.  If they were older and respectful, I think we would be besties! I am very friendly with people, but I am a bit wary of dogs that I meet on my walks. I sometimes growl and bark at the neighbor dog or if something alarms me. However, I do fine with other dogs if there is no barrier between us and I have gotten along with all the dogs who have come to visit my home. My mom fosters other dogs and has friends that visit with dog, and we all get along great. I am crate and potty trained and working on leash training. At times I am a bit loud when on the leash and will yell at other dogs. Although I enjoy pulling on the leash, foster mom is trying to help me learn that she is the leader on our walks not me…she’s so silly, she doesn’t know me at ALL!!! I am super smart girl! I know what to do when mom says “sit,” “stay,” “come,” “outside,” “go potty,” and “off.” Alright, if you REALLY must know, I learned the “off” command because I tend to jump on people when I get excited…I mean c’mon, seriously is it really that bad?? Mom has made it clear, by saying “off” and gently using her knee, that jumping on people is frowned upon in this establishment.  Anyway, mom says that I “must have had training before” because I am the “easiest foster” she’s “ever had” and that’s quite a compliment! But I would really benefit from additional training to continue learning new things like safe leash walking and maybe some tricks! My trip from a Texas shelter to MN was an adventure. When I arrived in MN my friends at Underdog discovered I was heartworm positive and I have finished the treatment and now I just dream of finding a furever home with a patient person who will shower me with unconditional love and will not give up on me. I'm a very handsome Miniature Poodle, and I'm discovering the joys of comfort and love in my foster home. Each day brings me more confidence, and I'm eager to share my overflowing love with a special someone—maybe that's you! I am a bit timid, sudden movements, commotion, and loud noises still make me a bit uneasy. However, I'm getting better at facing these fears every day. When foster mom is still, I'm all about those loving pets and cuddles. But if she's on the move, I keep my distance—I even bolt if she walks toward me. I know commands like "outside" and "stop," and leash and potty training are still on my to-learn list. I'm 95% potty trained, especially with a consistent routine. A fenced yard is a must for my adventurous spirit. I'd love to have a canine companion to show me the ropes, help me 'dog' properly, and boost my confidence. We're working on some manners, and my foster pals are excellent teachers. Walking on a leash needs some practice, and a confident pal by my side would be perfect. Despite being easily startled and a bit hand-shy, I've found joy in playing with toys, furry friends, and even those mysterious creatures called cats. I'm all about giving kisses, nibbling fingers, and enjoying ear scratches. Zoomies are my specialty, especially in the fenced yard or on the stairs. I've got some manners to polish up, like waiting for my turn and distinguishing between toys and household items – hee hee! I'm Heston, a 2-year-old male Poodle weighing in at 10 pounds. At first, I might seem a bit shy around new people and situations, but once I get comfortable, I'm a playful and cuddly little guy. I'm really smart and curious, always eager to learn and explore. I’ve been learning about trust and now I’m more apt to stay put than run, when approached.  Once I’m picked up I just melt right in for love.  That’ll likely be my personality all the time once I know you’re my people.  I’ve just started sleeping on my foster’s leg and inching my way up to hopefully a lap soon. I do have a fear of thunderstorms, so during those loud, stormy nights, I might need some extra comfort. I haven't been around young kids yet, but I think I'd do great with respectful children who understand how to be gentle and kind to me. Potty training is a work in progress for me. I’m trying hard to follow along and go potty outside but as close as I am to getting the hang of it, I might need a little transition time to learn it at my forever home too. I'm not the biggest fan of leashes and new things can make me nervous, so a fenced yard is a must for me. I've been on occasional walks, though, and I do know the command for “stay” which is what I’m told when they want to wrangle me in the harness.  I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, and while I don't need another dog in the house, having a furry friend to play with would be fantastic. I'm usually pretty quiet, except when the other pups start barking or when it's time for breakfast and dinner – then I might join in the chorus. One of my best qualities? I'm a world-class cuddler. I love nothing more than spending all day being held or sitting on a lap, soaking up all the love and affection.
