Louie did not get much socialization as he grew up during the COVID days. He is very loving, loyal, and sweet to his own family and friends who he met during his puppy phase. However, he can be very aggressive to people he doesn't know when he was a puppy. He has bitten strangers before and it'll require someone with a lot of dog training and experience to earn his trust. He is very food motivated as well, so that may help during training. However once his trust is earned, he is an absolutely sweet and loyal dog.

Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Housetrained and well behaved, they are super delicious in every way. LOVE kids, LOVE other friendly dogs, although Oreo can be dominant so might be better as an only dog, tested fine with cats - and love to be snuggled and pampered while giving u sooo much love back. They are both just a great match for any family looking for this breed. Sophie is more gentle laid back and independent, while Oreo - who we believe is still a big puppy - is more active and would not do good alone all day as she is very attached to being social. Both great on a leash and LOVE TO PLAY SNUGGLE and just be amazing! Bought from a breeder and lived with one family - sadly their owner was arrested and they were left uncared for so we had to get them groomed and back to better health - which was easy since they are just the nicest girls! They had no choice but to ask for our help and of course we wanted to find them the BEST family as these two are better than the best!! Ideal family would be one that knows this breed mix and knows that rescue dogs might need some time to adjust and have time to be active with them on a daily basis. They are both incredibly smart and have that doodle lovable nature while also having no aggression issues or residual trauma from their past. Oreo is a tripod. And WOW what a tripod! Don't think she's at all debilitated - she can even go jogging! But she has a lot of energy and would need a little more training post adoption to just help her learn proper manners. They are currently in foster here in CT and loving life. They are spayed heartworm negative vaccinated microchipped - up to date on all preventatives. They love to play in the yard and are great in a car and love being by your side. At 55 and 65lbs they prob won't gain too much more weight - they are close to a perfect size right now. Donation is required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.

What a young and silly boy sporting a wiry goatee! Tucker is a 2 year old Labradoodle and he is looking for his new family. He has traded in outdoor farm life for indoor living and thinks it is really swell. Initially he is a little hesitant about meeting new people, but a treat in hand helps him forget his fear and he is happy to meet new people. He fostered in a home with multiple dogs, but we have found that when he is one of two dogs, he tries to protect his new family from the other dog so we prefer to place him in an only dog home. He is hesitant about getting in a car, but once he is in, he is a great rider and seems to enjoy it. He is a very large boy and currently weighs 70#s He is very happy to hang around the house and get pets or to go out in the fenced yard and poke around while is foster mom does yard work. While we are not up to speed on all of the nomenclature for doodles, we do know his mother was the lab and his father was the poodle. His hair is actually great as it is wavy and wiry, but not the grooming nightmare of most doodles. If you have an active family and are looking for a doodle with a great personality that does not have the crazy grooming needs of the curly coats, Tucker may be just the guy for you.
