Story
Hey everyone! My name is Bonnie and I would like to tell you a little about myself. I’m a 14-month-old Mini Labradoodle with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. I’m about 40 pounds of pure sweetness, and I absolutely adore being pet. I’m great with kids and other dogs, always ready to make new friends and share my joy. Cats, though, are a bit too intriguing for me, so it might be best if my forever home is cat-free. I haven’t had the easiest start to life. I was first bought from a breeder, but my first human decided they were “too busy for me”. I was then sold to another person, but when I arrived at her home, they changed their mind about having a dog, so I ended up being handed over to a stranger at a yard sale. Luckily, my journey led me to this rescue who found me and promised to help me find a home where I’ll be loved forever. Despite everything, I’m still a hopeful and happy girl, just waiting for the right family to come along and show me what a true forever home feels like. I’m dreaming of a place where I can snuggle up for belly rubs, play fetch in the yard, and maybe even go on fun adventures. I know my perfect family is out there, and I can’t wait to meet them! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
This scruffy 8 month old doodle came to us with a chain leash stuck around his neck that had to be cut off:(. He's a shy guy at first who didn't have the best start and wasn't socialized much, but once he comes out of his shell he turns into a playful energetic pup. He loves other dogs and would make a great playmate for another active pup. He's 35lbs but too thin, and will likely be 45-50lbs full grown. He does NOT have the nonshedding curly poodle coat and would not be suitable for allergy sufferers... but we think his wiry terrier fur makes him extra adorable. Please submit an application to meet Roberto Primary Color: Cream Weight: 34.5 Age: 0yrs 9mths 0wks

Story
Meet Oreo! Oreo is a handsome LabraDoodle that weighs 45 pounds and is 1 year old. Oreo has a true love for life that he is happy to show to anyone that will let him! He loves to run and play and has lots of energy to do those things with. Since Oreo does have lots of energy it would be best if he is in a home with no young children unless the time is given right away to have a trainer work on jumping. He really loves the littles but is just a big goofball and may accidently knock them over and hurt them. Oreo has done really well with the other dogs he has met as long as they don't mind dogs that really like to play with them, he may be a bit much for a very low energy dog. Oreo knows a leash and has done well but could still use just a little practice with that and with potty training, but does do really well in a crate. Interested in becoming a forever home for Oreodoodle? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Oreodoodle. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Oreodoodle the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
This is a Courtesy Listing and has no affiliation with Petrescue. Please contact the owner listed below directly.Roxy is a beautiful 2.5 year old lab mix. She is an intelligent and energetic companion who thrives on activity and mental stimulation. Roxy currently attends a doggy daycare with a select group of dogs, so is sociable with some dogs. Roxy is very food-motivated, which makes her highly trainable. She's always eager to learn new tricks and commands. Roxy loves long walks and enjoys bike rides even more. If you're an active person looking for a companion to join you on your outdoor adventures, Roxy is your girl! She also has stellar leash manners and no reactivity to other dogs on walks unless they greet her directly on leash. She will walk past reactive dogs almost always. She is also not much of a barker only during play or occasionally for an outside noise. Roxy currently lives with 2 adults, 2 young children (ages 4 and 2), and 2 cats. She has shown no food aggression/guarding of toys and is good at adapting to her environment. While she is dog-selective, she can be redirected from cats and eventually comes to ignore them. Due to recent changes in our circumstances, we can no longer provide the home Roxy needs to thrive. We want to ensure she gets the best chance at a great life with a family that can cater to her needs and appreciate her wonderful qualities. An ideal home for Roxy is one with an individual who is active and loves outdoor activities ....A family with older children may also be suitable...Someone who is patient and willing to continue her training... A home with no other dogs or with dogs that are compatible with Roxy's personality. Ideally a home where she can be gradually introduced to other pets if any. Roxy has always been part of a loving family, and they are heartbroken to part with her, but are committed to finding her a loving home where she can continue to be happy and healthy. If you believe you can provide Roxy with a loving, forever home, please reach out to us. Lindsay Lopez - 917-306-6997, lindsaymlopez1@gmail.com, Raymond Lopez - 646-510-2176, raymondlopez@gmail.com
