I have had Remy since May 2023 where I adopted him from a family with two tiny dogs (less than 10lbs each). He is a sweet dog who loves to play, but unfortunately doesnt know his own size (he is 58lbs) and his excited play is even too much for my three other small dogs (20lbs-25lbs). He is not aggressive, but overly-rambunctious with my other dogs who like to play but can’t handle such a big dpg like Remy who gets too excited. He also is a chewer and needs constant access to chew toys or he will find something else to chew. He’s a happy, healthy dog. He would do great in a home with other big dogs or as the only pet.

Hello my name is Sonny and I am a Double Doodle. I was born on December 17th 2023 at 11:59 PM. My mom is a 46 lb F1b Goldendoodle (black fur coat) and my dad is a 90 lb F1 Labradoodle (Golden fur coat). I am still a puppy and I am growing and getting big. I require lots of attention and exercise. I am a big goofball and I like to play a lot. I need a big backyard so that I can run around and play ball with you. I currently know how to sit if you ask me to. I do require some training since I am still young and I like to chew on things. I’ve only had my 1st set of vaccines and my current owner gives me Nexgard for fleas & worms. I get along with children, my little humans are 2 and 4 yrs old and we get along very well. Are you looking for a pet to go hiking with, maybe hunting, or possibly swimming at the beach or lake? I am the perfect dog for you! I love adventures and I am looking for my new owner to take me along for those rides. Message my human if you would like to meet me.

A family friend had to move states and asked us for help rehoming their dog, we don’t know much about him but have had no luck and it’s been about 7 months, he needs to find a home that is loving and will be with him, he’s very sweet and loves attention. Blu is young but we don’t know anything about him but his name. This is urgent as my dogs (2 other big dogs) have been picking on him and attacking him since he’s a new male I think, I believe he’d do better as a lone pet with no other animals unless those animals are good with other dogs. And I’m worried about blu getting hurt, he has only ever been territorial over bones as most dogs are, but hasn’t shown aggression.

Meet Rossi! He has been waiting for his family since 2017! This young adult boy is ready to join your active lifestyle.  He had a tough start in his life, vet said that he had a broken leg at some point, but you would never know it.  He is extremely happy and so loving.  Rossi has basic obedience training and is already house and crate trained. He loves to spend his days at doggy day care.  If you are looking for a handsome running companion -- he, is it!!  Rossi currently lives with other dogs, but he would be best as a solo dog as he takes time to warm up to other 4-legged friends.  He loves attention and is selective as to who he shares it with. Why would he not— look at him, a ladies' man for sure!   Rossi's  adoption fee is $100 in Houston, Tx or I can be transported for $350 out of state, which includes neuter, current vaccinations, health certificate, transport fees and microchip. Gia doesn`t seem to have spent much time around people before and was very scared and nervous when she first came into the shelter. We`ve been working with her and are slowly showing her that humans are her friends. She`s already come so far - we`re so proud of her! She`s still wary of people and tries to back away from them at first, but if you`re gentle and patient and go slowly with her she`ll let you pet and touch her now. You can tell she has no idea what to make of the gesture , and she`s very nervous about it. Despite her fear she`s never shown any signs of aggression. We`re also working with her on the leash - she`ll let you put it on now, but has no idea what she`s supposed to do after that, and she`s too nervous to walk on it. She still doesn`t feel comfortable taking treats from your hand, but you can bet as soon as you leave her kennel she`s eating them. She loves treats! Gia is thriving in her current short term foster home. Her leash skills are improving, and she has started trusting her fosters enough to take treats from their hands. She`s living well with other dogs and is slowly gaining confidence!

Domino is a fun-loving kind of guy. He`s always got a grin on his face and he loves to run around and play! He`s both playful and puppyish, and finds everything to be exciting and fun! He`s got lots of energy and likes to keep active. He enjoys chasing after toys when you throw them, but he won`t bring them back. He`ll make his own fun by batting them around by himself sometimes though! Another great love of his is treats. They make him VERY happy! He`s done great spending time with kids on a doggy day out, and the 9YO had no problem handling him on leash! He knows to be laidback around children, and loved them hugging and kissing on him. He`s also gotten along well with other dogs in shelter playgroups. Who wouldn`t want a handsome boy like this around to liven things up?!Domino es un tipo amante de la diversión. ¡Siempre tiene una sonrisa en su rostro y le encanta correr y jugar! Es juguetón y cachorro, ¡y encuentra que todo es emocionante y divertido! Tiene mucha energía y le gusta mantenerse activo. Le gusta perseguir juguetes cuando se los lanzas, pero no los trae de vuelta. ¡Sin embargo, a veces se divertirá golpeándolos solo! Otro de sus grandes amores son las golosinas. ¡Lo hacen MUY feliz! Lo ha hecho muy bien pasando tiempo con los niños en un día de perros, ¡y el 9 años no tuvo problemas para manejarlo con correa! Sabe ser relajado con los niños, y le encantaba que lo abrazaran y lo besaran. También se ha llevado bien con otros perros en los grupos de juego de los refugios. ¿Quién no querría que un chico guapo como este animara las cosas?
