Story
Meet Aaron, a 4-year-old spayed female Labrador Husky mix with a striking black-and-white coat, weighing 22kg. She’s an affectionate and social girl who loves people—whether she knows them or not! She eagerly approaches for pets and enjoys physical affection from both men and women. Aaron spent seven months in a foster home with a 9-year-old child, and while they developed a close bond (even snuggling in bed together) Once she feels secure, she’s incredibly gentle and patient. She’s comfortable being picked up and will roll over to show her belly once she trusts you. When it comes to other dogs, Aaron is polite and well-mannered, waiting patiently if another dog wants to sniff her. She’s more comfortable with dogs her size or smaller, as large, boisterous dogs can make her a bit nervous. She’s happy to engage in light play with smaller dogs but prefers to avoid high-energy dogs that play rough or bark excessively—she’ll simply give a warning growl and walk away. Though she coexists well with other dogs, she prefers human companionship the most. Aaron has not lived with cats, but she has shown some interest in chasing stray cats outside. However, she responds well to human intervention and will stop when called. With a medium energy level, Aaron enjoys outdoor activities but also knows how to relax afterward. She loves her walks and has plenty of experience on a leash. While she might pull a bit when excited, she’s easy to manage and generally follows her handler’s lead. She enjoys taking her time to sniff around, so expect a few stops along the way! She is fully outdoor potty trained and was walked daily in her foster home. Aaron is a quiet, well-mannered girl who doesn’t guard food and rarely barks. She’s calm in a kennel and enjoys resting in peaceful surroundings. She responds well to being called, and even young children can safely give her treats—she’ll wait patiently and take them gently. Even when meeting new people, she never barks or acts shy; instead, she happily approaches for pets and attention. Originally rescued from a city shelter, Aaron is also the mother of Bernie, a pup who has since found a forever home in Canada. Now, it’s her turn to find a loving family where she can be cherished for the sweet and gentle companion she is! Story
It’s hard to get that perfect picture to show off a dog perfectly. This dog is cool looking all the way around with his long body and short legs of a basset and the face and coat of a lab. He can be reserved at first but once he opens up he is social. He also attaches him self in a loyal way with his handler without being overly needed. He is a reall cool chill dog. Even though he looks basset we haven’t heard say much. He is fairly quiet. He is injured and we will be removing his leg possibly next week. We do have him on limited duty and we won’t have him houses with a dog. He has been around other medical dogs including smalls and was just chill. I tested with a dog his size and showed little interest but wanted to keep his distance, was most likely avoiding being jumped on with his injury.  ##2267802##

He is friendly and playful with other dogs. Neutral in a playgroup. Social with people, good eye contact and treat motivated. I don’t know if he knew commands but picks up on things quickly. ##2267447##
