She needs a loving home, where she will get good exercise and to bring out her potential, she is good with children as long as they don’t try to hit on her as she will feel sad, lots of love and more training, I got her through someone due to needing a pet for my child and as of now things are more busy for us to keep her, she’s a good girl she just needs beautiful guidance to stimulate her more efficiently, for the new home to love her as if she’s family and well taken cared of she is 1 years old and such a beautiful girl has a little attitude but is fun and lively

Story
Meet Stokely,Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on let's go and play - with Stokely! Yes, Stokely is the MOST handsome pup there is but he's so much more than that. At about 7 years old, he is that perfect energy level - ready for a quick romp outside, then ready to come back to lay by the fire and snuggle. Stokely is a large dog, currently weighing about 90 lbs (though his ideal weight would be closer to 110 lbs or so) but he's a true gentle giant. He is easy-going and calm in the house. He has the sweetest personality and makes his foster parents laugh every day! He has done wonderfully with the other dog in his foster home and he did well in play groups while at the shelter. Stokely is crate-trained (though he does bark when he first goes into his crate) and has never had an accident.Stokely may have a bit of a counter-surfing habit (and has learned how to open the refrigerator in his foster home 😂) but you can't really blame him for being a food hound. As mentioned above, he still has some weight to gain and we know he's just doing his best to get up to his ideal weight! When Stokely first came to the shelter, his ribs were showing, his skin was a mess, and he was noticeably uncomfortable. Luckily, with the help of our staff, vet, and foster, Stokely's health has improved dramatically. And how he's ready to find his perfect home!Caroline County Humane SocietyRidgley, Marylandwww.carolinehumane.orgadoptions@carolinehumane.org410-820-1600.

Story
Don’t let the name fool you—Old Gregg might sound like a retired sea captain, but this 5-year-old poodle mix is all puppy party and zero prune juice. He’s got the spunk of a toddler on espresso and the fashion sense of a dog who just survived his first extreme makeover. When Gregg was found, he was rockin’ more knots than a sailor’s handbook. The mats were so intense they could’ve been classified as modern art. So, off came the fluff! Now, he’s sporting what we lovingly call the “fuzzy helmet” look—business on top, party in the back (well, when it grows back).Don’t worry, his tan coat will make a comeback, like a fabulous fur-based phoenix rising from the ashes...eventually. Until then, he’s serving bold, brave, aerodynamic realness.Old Gregg is no rookie when it comes to indoor etiquette—he’s fully house trained and knows a few commands, which makes us suspect he was someone’s good boy before falling on ruff times. He’s still figuring out the whole “walk on a leash” thing, but he’s so smart we’re convinced he could learn to program your smart TV if given enough snacks.Gregg’s ideal day? A few belly rubs, a couple treats, some quality time with his humans, and a mirror to admire that sweet, sweet helmet hair.Looking for a hilarious, quirky, oddly stylish new best friend who’ll steal your heart (and probably your socks)? Old Gregg is your guy. He's not old. He's OG. 🐾 If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: acskc.org/adoption/adoption-applicationOnce your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
