Story
Meet Lucy!  She is a 4 month old Lab/pointer/pit mix.  She was part of a litter of 9 newborns and their mom who were dumped at a gas station.  Lucy is a spunky girl who needs a little training but listens and responds to correction very well.  She is a sweet puppy but no young kids please she is too much puppy.  She is good with dogs but do not know about cats and she would really love a home with another active dog to play with.  She is spayed, vaccinated, and chipped.   Adoption fee and contract required. Call 321377-8166 for interview today!! Roxi loves to watch movies, is a great co pilot, and walks for as long as you can ! She needs a home with older kids, no cats, and fenced yard. Rescued from OCAS death row, she has had treatment for heartWorms and is clear. She is easy diet, no concerns. That steel blue coat shines and has zero health issues! Needs a home as we inherited my sisters two big senior dogs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application Onyx and his sisters were rescued from a bad situation with a backyard breeder.  He is a love bug that needs someone with a spacious yard. Buddy came back to rescue as a big boy 80lbs that wasnt socialized as a puppy. He is fearful in certain situations and will react by griwling and barking. Buddy is in a play group at boarding and plays well with his pack. He is leash and fence reactive which he is working on in training. Buddy is a very well behaved dog. He needs an active person with some knowledge of dog behavior would be ideal. Other dogs who are also active and love to play would work for Teddy, as well. We prefer a home with one person as Teddy seems to attach to one person. He needs love and time to feel safe. He is so loving when he knows you and was adopted to a home with another lab that he did great with. But he became very protective over the 15 year old daughter. Please apply if you would love to give this big guy a chance.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 3:03 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Lilou, a loving and resilient 5-7 year-old shepherd-lab mix weighing about 42 lbs. This sweetheart will greet you with the biggest tail wags and gentle kisses, making every day a little brighter! Lilou has a condition called cerebellar abiotrophy, which affects her balance, causing her to stumble and fall. She needs extra support on bare floors where she can be a bit like "Bambi on ice,” but she does much better on rubber mats or carpets for traction.  Recently, Lilou underwent FHO surgery and is doing remarkably well, especially with the assistance of a "Help Em Up" harness for her walks. Some days she only needs a little support, while other days she might need more help, so we're looking for a special adopter with good balance and upper body strength to assist her. Lilou would thrive in a home where someone can be with her most of the time, helping her with mobility and enjoying her loving company. She enjoys moving from one cozy dog bed to another to keep you company around the house, plus a few outings a day to sunbathe, sniff around, and take potty breaks. Lilou gets along well with calm dogs and would do best with a gentle canine companion to keep her company when you’re not around. She adores being massaged, petted, and showered with soft-spoken words of encouragement. Patience and love go a long way with Lilou, and she will reward you with her sweet nature. She’s house-trained, enjoys treats, and occasionally plays with toys when she’s feeling frisky. Lilou also likes short, slow walks around the yard or down the block with her harness. Despite her challenges, Lilou is quite independent, resilient, and even strong-willed. She can be an escape artist if separated from you, a skill she likely developed while surviving on the streets of the Bahamas before being rescued by her hero, Chella, whom many follow on social media. Chella ensured Lilou could come to the US for the care she needed and a chance at the best life. Lilou is a happy and very sweet girl, just looking for her forever home. We believe she would do best in an all-adult home or with teens who are respectful of her needs. Her ideal home would be single-story and without an open pool. Lilou is available for foster, foster-to-adopt, or adoption. If you think you have the perfect home for Lilou and live in Florida, please complete an application and tell us more about your family. Check out the video links below to see Lilou in action.
