Story
Meet Yogi, a strikingly handsome 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix weighing just over 40 pounds. This energetic, friendly boy is eager to find an active forever family who can match his zest for life. Yogi is a high-energy pup who thrives on physical activity and mental challenges. He loves toys, enjoys car rides, and relishes the chance to run and play with children or canine friends. While he’s great with kids, he’s still mastering his manners and learning to keep all four paws on the ground—a work in progress he calls "jumping for joy." At the shelter, he keeps his kennel impeccably clean and is so good about listening to the staff! His food motivation and eager-to-please nature make him a quick learner. Although a fenced yard isn’t required, it would give Yogi the perfect space to burn off his energy safely. With his love of adventure and playful spirit, he’s ready to be your loyal sidekick in all of life’s escapades. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who’s great with other dogs and full of potential, Yogi might just be your perfect match! His adoption fee is $100, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents if he's 4 months or older. I have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and am on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at:   http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm Wish Bone Canine Rescue  1303 Morrissey Drive Bloomington, IL 61701 www.wishbonecaninerescue.org           Since its our desire that you have a pet you can enjoy a lifetime of love with you, we take special measures to ensure that the pet is the best match for you and your family.  We require that you complete our online www.wishbonecaninerescue.org (Please give us 24 hours to verify your information). Story
Meet Caraline, a delightful Retriever-Labrador mix whose tail wags with the speed of light at the mere suggestion of fun! Her warm, expressive eyes could melt glaciers, especially when she's begging for a snack (which is, like, all the time). With the friendly spirit of a Labrador and the intelligence of a Retriever, Caraline is the ultimate "yes" dog – yes to walks, yes to cuddles, yes to trying to eat that suspiciously interesting thing on the sidewalk. She's got a bright mind, mostly focused on figuring out how to get more attention. Caraline is ready to bring her sunny disposition and perpetually happy heart to a lucky forever family. Prepare for a lifetime of joyful greetings and the occasional stolen sock! Story
Meet River, a gentle soul 1-year old Lab mix with the sweetest heart. She's a petite girl at about 42 pounds. This shy girl has had a tough time adjusting to shelter life, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through. She will thrive with a confident canine companion to help her feel secure and build her confidence. River is a quiet at the shelter and keeps her run clean. She enjoys belly rubs, brief yard adventures, and curling up in her bed. She’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary, so she needs a patient home with a secure fenced yard to keep her safe. Because quick movements and loud noises startle her, she will need a calm, adult-only home or one with children 10+ who can respect her need to adjust. If you have a kind heart, a peaceful home, and a furry friend to guide her, River would love to be your loyal companion. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
