Marley is a great dog, very loyal to her family, loves to sit outside with you, just protecting you, she wants to lay in your lap and sleep with you in your bed , she very protective of her owners. Loves to chase squirrels, she will be good for someone in the country, won’t be good for someone in an apartment due to her getting nervous around a lot of unfamiliar noises

Story
This is Camilla. Underhound will be pulling her from Vance County, NC. She was surrendered with her sister and son, Roscoe. She is a fun-loving, playful girl who deserves to be pampered. She has had several litters of puppies. She is dog and kid friendly. She is noted to be heartworm positive so she will stay in NC until she returns a negative result after obtaining heartworm treatment. Raising Aid for Dogs At Risk (RADAR) will be providing Underhound Railroad with a grant to help cover Camilla's heartworm treatment costs. Camilla has proven to be the sweetest girl and reminded us all again how dogs can forgive, forget and still have such love to give even after a life of hardship. After spending her short life being bred constantly, she found herself dumped in a North Carolina shelter along with her son, Roscoe and (pregnant) sister, Penelope. Her dear face and beautiful smile caught the eye of Underhound Railroad, a rescue based in Maine, and they knew right away they had to get her out of the scary shelter and into a loving home. Camilla faced not just the challenge of escaping the full shelter where she found herself, but also the fact that she tested positive for Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Heartworm disease, diagnoses that dramatically hindered her likelihood at a rescue. Underhound quickly looked for assistance to keep Camilla safe - funding for her heartworm treatment. Underhound contacted RADAR for assistance and they immediately agreed to help Camilla. Camilla will begin her treatment in April. Once she has completed her protocol she will travel to Maine, healthy and happy, to find her forever home. Because of RADAR’s support Underhound was also able to rescue, Roscoe, Camilla’s son too! Her foster family says this about Camilla: We first met Camilla when we picked her up at the veterinarian's office where she had just had her spay surgery. She immediately stole our hearts with her diminutive size, gentle way, and soft, expressive brown eyes. And also her strength! Five vet assistants couldn’t keep a cone collar on her for more than 30 minutes at a time. This experienced mama knows what she will and won’t do! Camilla quickly began to show herself to be a good patient and a loving and well-mannered dog. She hasn’t made a peep since she arrived - such a quiet girl - except for a tiny whimper when she needs to go potty. She has a habit of wrinkling her lips when she is excited or hungry and it makes us laugh! She is wonderful with our three-year-old daughter. She will be a delightful addition to her new forever family one day. She loves being with Roscoe, they sleep curled up together, share their meals and we might add, Camilla always wins their games of  tussle ! She has not let her past life color her present in the slightest and thanks to RADAR, once recovered from heartworms, she is ready to face her happiest chapter. Happy Life, beautiful Camilla!   When she arrives in Maine, she will be available for adoption. Story
My name is Oak and I am a strong and beautiful male Lab mix puppy who is looking for a wonderful family to love for the rest of my life.  I was born around the middle of May they think and it looks like I am going to be a 45-50 pound boy tops when I grow completely up.  I was picked up with my litter from a farm barnyard where me and my 6 siblings were running around with very little supervision.  My foster mom was buying a few goats for her Hobby Farm and she could not leave us behind.  She knew we had no real future to be wormed and get all the important shots and to be spayed and neutered as we should be later.  So, now I am in a foster home with some terrific people who are taking great care of me and making sure that I know how to snuggle, go outside to the bathroom, sleep in a crate and how to share my love with all the children and adults in the family.  I am a team player when it comes to playing with other dogs and I have met a few cats in my short life too.  I love to chase a ball, sniff the yard and I love to explore the great outdoors and the inside of the house too.  You can tell that I am cute but most importantly my foster mom wants to tell you how sweet I am.  I love people and I will promise to love my future family when I am adopted.  Step up and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue if you are interested:  ccrtennessee@gmail.com is the way to reach out and ask for an application to adopt.  Hurry… I can’t wait to meet you. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 14, 2024, 9:01 pm

Story
This is our sweet precious Leroy. Leroy was tragically dumped on the side of the road by his previous owners and of course they were never caught. He ended up in our city park and we could tell he had been injured, probably hit by a car. We took him onto our vet right away and x-rays showed a small crack in his Femoral Head. He had to go on strict rest for 6 weeks in order to heal. The crack has healed and he is now ready for adoption. He is definitely a Retriever of some sort because he will retrieve anything and everything and bring it to you with his entire butt wiggling! He has been neutered, and fully vaccinated. He is also crate trained and microchipped. He is more than ready for his forever home! Could that be you? Leroy is ready for immediate transport. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE: $500

Story
Now who can resist a face like this one!????   Big Albert is one handsome yellow Lab boy that came in as a stray to a Tennessee shelter with another boy Lab. Not neutered and having no collar or microchip, Big Albert doesn’t seem to have anyone looking for him.  The estimate on his age is 5-6 years and we know that he definitely is 108 pounds!! We think this boy is a pure Lab due to his size and look.  He always wears a smile and has a tail wag for everyone he meets.  He thinks he is a lap dog if you want to know the truth.  He is huge but in his heart he thinks that he is a little “prince” that should be sitting on a red velvet pillow on your lap…like royalty.  He is totally every dog’s friend and we truly think that a cat could be his best friend as well. He is getting neutered now and is heartworm negative and worm free.  What a treasure he will be for some family or person who wants the companionship of a wonderful true Lab.  He will be a friend magnet as you walk him on a leash out in the world. Thank you for considering this handsome hunk of a dog.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and mention where you live; city and state when inquiring.  We transport from Nashville, Tn as to the northeast.  He is available in Tennessee and 10 other states that our transport reaches.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 13, 2024, 1:29 pm
