Malia is our special girl... abandoned and rescued on November 11, 2023 on Puerto Nuevo beach in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. The day I met Malia, when I opened my car door, she got into the car and didn't want to get out. She was adamant that it was her turn to be rescued and we could not say no! She is a good and social dog who shares well with others. She loves belly rubs and scratches behind the ears and will seek you out when she is feeling in need of some affection. Malia is a healthy, active girl who would be a great jogging friend or playmate to some kids! She loves to play with the water from the hose and has been introduced to a kiddie pool for some fun in the sun! Malia loves toys and playing retrieve with balls. Malia will arrive in Albion, NY in early September and we would ove to have a family waiting to meet her! Gaia was rescued and initially it was thought that she would be a fearful little girl. Boy were we wrong! Once she settled in and knew she was safe she became one of the most affectionate and loving pups in the foster. She is cuddly and so affectionate! She loves her friends and will play endlessly in the yard with them. Gaia shares well and loves the cats(wants to play with them!) ! She is about 5 months old and 25 pounds. We expect her to be about 35 pounds as an adult. Of course we love all of the dogs in foster, but Gaia has definitely stolen our hearts! Ocean is the last of his four siblings to fly to find his forever family! His three sisters came up on previous transports and now it is finally his turn! He is a fun, adventurous one year old boy who plays in the water and runs to the river in the morning in PR to play and climb in the water and rocks. Story

Doki is a funny little character! He started off with a rough beginning, living on the streets with his mother Ruby(another MAD rescue), and his three siblings. When the family was rescued two of his siblings had been killed by cars. Doki and his little family were taken into rescue and little Doki was fitted with some casts to straighten his front legs that seemed to be growing crooked(most likely form starvation and malnutrition). In two weeks he was a new man and his legs looked great! He is perfectly fine and has no lingering effects! He is now a happy, funny and silly boy who loves scooting through wet grass, hopping over his friends and playing. He is cuddly and affectionate. Doki is about 14 pounds at 5 months old and we don't expect him to be much bigger than 30 pounds. We do have pictures of his mama. Doki will arrive in Albion, NY at the beginning of September and we would love to have a family waiting to meet him!
