Story
Diablo is a very nice Lab with lots of Lab energy! He is a very good boy that came in through our cruelty department with a couple of his family members. He is a gentle boy that actually doesn't mind getting his nails trimmed! This guy would be great in a home with kids of all ages.

Story
Sir Sniff a Lot; never has a name been so silly, yet so perfect! Sir Sniff came to the shelter in March 2024, as a stray. This lab mix is about fifty pounds and four years old. Sir Sniff is a typical lab - friendly and intelligent, easy-going and energetic, affectionate and playful. He's a proud member of the doggy playgroup and knows sit, down, spin and catch. He loves to play with toys and be with his family. He would do best in an active, adult family. Sir Sniff is part of the doggy playgroup, and is patient with other dogs in the home. However, he doesn't like to share, so he may do best as the only dog and no small kids. He also loves to chase small furry things that move fast, so no cats for Sir Sniff!Sir Sniff is not thriving in the shelter setting - labs seldom do. He doesn't show well in the kennel, and he's never had a visit; he just gets overlooked. He's spending part of his time in foster, and his foster family says he's gentle with their senior dog, enjoys car rides, likes everyone he meets, and is patient in the bath. We think he would do well with respectful older kids. Two certain things about Sir Sniff A Lot; once you meet him, you'll want to adopt him, and once you adopt him, you'll want to change his name!

Story
He is a ~70lb 7year old, neutered-male Lab/Sheppard mix. Beautiful Black/Brindle, with a white blaze on his chest. In excellent physical shape, no noted health issues. Heartworm negative He is a fantastic family dog, no issues with children or infants (we have a 3month old, and a 3year old) Lives with an indoor cat Excellent on car rides. Invisible fence trained. Walks and runs well with a stroller. Loves outdoor play and walks, spends most of his days outside; but hangs out inside too. Likes to sleep in a people bed When he meets other dogs, he can be reactive. Meeting a calm dog responds with a calm Boomer, an excited dog can get an excited Boomer. Plays well with most other dogs He has moderate separation anxiety/distress We have been attempting to train him using the Treat-and-Train system; with improvement. However, at this point our schedules are just not providing enough time to train him further.

Story
Welcome to the rescue, Daisy!  This not so little puppy was dumped by her owner with her 3 sisters after he couldn't sell them.  They ended up in a shelter where they were at risk of being euthanized.  Seventh Heaven Rescue was contacted and that was that.  These 4 girls are now safe and were being boarded in Louisiana until they arrived in Central NY August 10th.  Daisy is 5 months old.  She is a Golden/Lab/Pyrenees mix puppy.  Her mother is a Golden/Lab mix and her father is a Great Pyrenees.   All 4 of these girls will be pretty big dogs once they are full grown.  They are all dog social and participated in doggy playgroups.  These girls are completely house broken, but will need training for walking on leash.  They are typical puppies - so an adopted needs to be committed to the training, exercise and socialization that a puppy needs.  Daisy's adoption fee is $450 which goes towards spaying at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adoption, microchip and transportation fees. ##2094253##
