Story
Gilly Girl is a 6 month old lab mix who we adopted from a shelter at 10 weeks old. We had her Embark panel done and she is 50% lab and 30% standard poodle, and super mutt for the other. She looks and acts all lab and is a big sweet girl. She is currently 48 lbs and will be a large dog for sure! We dearly love this dog, but realize that she needs more then my husband and myself can give her (we are retirement age.) Gilly can sit, wait, touch and LOVES to retrieve balls, toys, etc. Gilly is super silly, loves toys and tries SO hard to make friends with all other creatures. She would be an awesome family pet with land to run and older kiddos to run and play with. She would also do well with active adults who love to hike.

Story
Hey there! I’m Luke, a male Lab Mix (at least that’s what I look like) eagerly searching for my forever home. Let me tell you a bit about myself. First and foremost, I’m a friendly and affectionate guy. I absolutely love being around people and showering them with love and cuddles. Playtime is my favorite, and I’m always up for some fun and games. Now, don’t let my playful nature fool you—I’m also incredibly smart. I pick up on things quickly and love learning new tricks and commands. You can count on me to impress you with my intelligence. I’m quite the curious pup too. I enjoy exploring my surroundings and discovering new things. Life is an adventure, and I’m always ready to embark on it with enthusiasm. When it comes to athleticism, I’m no slouch. I thrive on staying active and engaging in physical activities. Whether it’s going on adventurous walks or participating in playtime, I’ll be your loyal and energetic partner.

Story
This gentle & soft soul has been waiting since September to find her forever family. Saylor is aged at 4 years old, spayed, heartworm negative, microchipped, & up to date on vaccines & preventatives. Saylor originally came to us in gut-wrenching conditions; she was severely underweight, her spirit had been broken, and the life inside of her had been taken away. We knew that after her vet appointments & putting weight on, she really just needed three very simple things: - Food - Love - Time (The key to any heart!) Saylor is a wallflower, but enjoys the company of size appropriate dog friends; she is still trying to find her place in the world, and she can feel overwhelmed by too much stimulation & excitement…just like us sometimes. In Saylor’s free time, she enjoys exploring the backyard, listening to the birds, and cuddling up on a nearby dog bed. Saylor truly desires companionship, and she has been waiting for her heart to connect with a forever family. Despite Saylor’s fears, she is slowly blossoming and making progress….but she really needs your help. Saylor desperately needs to find a foster or forever family, as she is struggling to adapt without support from a family. She would make a great fit for families who can offer her love, care, patience, attention, and time. Saylor would not make a good fit for families with young children or families with cat friends. If you’re in a position to foster or looking to adopt, please consider opening your home and your heart to Saylor. We promise she will happily give her heart right back to you.

Story
Back in August of 2024, we helped out three Misfit dogs who were in deplorable conditions; Forest was one of the three. When we first met this trio, we were in complete shock, but we knew we didn’t have time to waste… The first few weeks were the most crucial, and we were on high alert to ensure all three were making progress. It didn’t take long for these kiddos to find their foster families, and Forest found a great one who nursed him back to health over the coming months! Forest adjusted quickly to having a family and a home. Once Forest made it to an appropriate weight, he was a surgery candidate for his neuter! Thanks to our friends at Asheville Humane Society, we were able to get Forest neutered, microchipped, and officially cleared for adoption! (He was vaccinated prior to surgery) After a long, long road of everything Forest has endured, he is finally safe, loved, and ALWAYS has a full belly now. This boy has crossed mountains to get here, and he never gave up….even when he was nothing but a walking skeleton, he still had hope and he still had love. Now it's time for Forest to find his FOREVER family and live the life he deserves. If you're interested in fostering or adopting Forest, please reach out so we can introduce you!
