Story
This is my angel boy, Bambi (Pronounced Bah-mbi). I've rescued him from a gipsy ranch in Eastern EU 4 yrs ago, and flew him and 2 others here, to the Winston Salem area in NC. Now due to a crisis outside of my control I need to take care of Bambi's safety this way. Only to the right person and home!! Bambi needs a securely fenced yard!!, he is really good on leash, well behaved in general, totally house broken and socialized with other dogs. He has basic obedience training, and he is super lovie, he wants to be touched all the time. He is used to traveling in cars and airplanes. He'd love to drive around with you and would love walks and hikes. Out of my many dogs I've had, Bambi gets the gold star for being the easiest, most accommodating. He has a special diet that needs to be kept, and he needs you to be financially secure, and fit for at least another 10yrs. Bambi is a beautiful, healthy black lab boy with a fancy EU Pet Passport. He deserves a caring person and home.

Story
Born April 1, 2021.Had them since they were 7 weeks old. Never been separated. Very good with children and cats. Same with dogs depending on how they’re introduced they get excited. They’re very well behaved and sleep in an couple crate at night together. Their appetite is very good. They can sit, shake, lay down. Thor is the light brindle. Loki is the dark brindle. Loki loves chew toys. They both love following whomever they think the master is around. Thor can get a little anxious at times especially around loud noises or when he’s separated from Loki. We lack the space and time to exercise them properly. They are both neutered. Crates, leashes, harness, food/water bowls, toys would be included with them.

Story
Have you ever seen a cuter boy than Dumplin? This boy has been through so much in his lifetime. He was dumped out on a rural road, left to fend for himself. He was mostly hairless when we got him. His foster mom nursed him back to health. He was eaten up with fleas and had so many hotspots on him. Today he is thriving! He loves people, kids and other dogs! Dumplin' is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, neutered and microchipped. He is housetrained and never meets a stranger. He is the most gentle, loving soul, you'll ever meet. Our vet guesstimates him to be around 7 years old. Being that he has been through so much in his life, he looks a lot older. We do not know for sure, his exact age, but we do know that he loves big! He is such an easy dog! He yearns for nothing but love! If interested in making Dumplin' a part of your family, please complete the adoption application below: https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html Adoption fee: $350. This fee covers all vaccines, heartworm test, vet exams and neuter, along with chip.

Story
Meet Chief, the big, goofy 3-year-8-month-old boy who’s ready to find a home full of love and attention! Weighing in at 88 lbs, Chief is a gentle giant who thrives on interaction with his humans. He absolutely loves being petted and enjoys spending time with his family. When it comes to toys, he’s super engaged and loves playing with them – he’s very interactive and will happily entertain you with his fun-loving nature. Chief can be a bit demanding when it comes to snackies, but he does know how to settle into a polite sit for a treat! He may pull on the leash during walks, but once he’s had the chance to burn off some energy, he tends to do better and walks with more ease. This lovable boy does have some separation anxiety, so he’ll need a home where someone is around more often than not to give him the attention he craves. The good news is that he is crate trained, so he’s comfortable when it’s time to settle down. Chief would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy and engaged. While Chief does jump up to get attention, he is easily redirected, making him a great fit for a family who’s willing to continue working with him on his manners. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and interactive companion who loves to play and be loved on, Chief could be the perfect addition to your home! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
