Meet Scrappy! Zoinks!
Scrappy might not be chasing spooky ghosts, but this 10-month-old, 35-pound Retriever/Hound mix is always up for an adventure! A big puppy with an even bigger heart, Scrappy is a goofy, loving, and outgoing pup who’s ready to sniff out fun wherever he goes.
Whether he’s solving the mystery of the disappearing treats (spoiler: it was him), flopping over for belly rubs, or investigating the best cuddle spots, Scrappy is always on the case! He loves going for walks, romping with his playful dog friends, playing with toys, and snuggling up with his humans.
This clever pup is already house-trained and knows some basic commands like “sit” and “down”. He walks pretty well on a leash and is getting the hang of crate training (though he may voice his opinion for a few minutes). Like any young detective-in-training, he’s still working on perfecting his skills—like remembering to keep all four paws on the ground—but he’s eager to learn, food-motivated, and responds wonderfully to redirection.
Scrappy would thrive in a home that can keep up with his moderate energy and is excited to help him become the best mystery-solving sidekick ever. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, belly-rub-seeking cuddle bug, Scrappy is ready to join your family!

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
