Story
Hi, I'm Darko, a 2.5-year-old, 75lb Lab Sheppard mix. I'm super soft and cuddly and have the softest velvety brindle coat you'll ever pet. I love to play and run and am fine tuning my leash skills. I'm crate and potty trained but would prefer to have the run of the house with you. I get along with my house mates and like to play. I currently weigh 75 lbs, but looking to drop some pound for the perfect summer bod. If you're up for adventure, love to investigate smells, are active, and want big love bug to snuggle up at the end with of a good day then I'm your man! Darko is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Jewel, Jemma, and Jett! These three sweet girls are 2 months old and weigh around 9 pounds each. We believe they are Lab mixes (though we only got to see their mom) and expect them to grow into medium-sized adults. They come from an unwanted litter that was surrendered to a shelter after the owner considered giving them away as Christmas gifts. We stepped in just in time to get the entire litter into loving foster homes for the holidays. These three are typical, energetic puppies! They are currently working on crate training and potty training and are making great progress. Fostered in a home with dogs of all ages and sizes, they’re learning how to “dog” like pros. As teething puppies, they’ll need plenty of appropriate chew toys and bones to keep them entertained. Thanks to the recent mild weather, they’ve also been enjoying supervised playtime in a fenced yard, which they absolutely love! If you're looking for a forever furry friend who will shower you with unconditional love and plenty of puppy kisses, look no further! Apply now to bring one of these sweet girls home! This litter is fostered in the Cincinnati area. The adoption fee for one of these girls is $400.00.
