Story
Up for adoption are Liesel and Lila, a beautiful bonded pair of petite Lab mixes, who are about 12-18 months old, calm, house trained, weigh about 49 lbs. each, are VERY easy to have around and are as sweet as they come...❤...We can tell these girls were someone's pets at some point, because they are very comfortable living in a house...Unfortunately, their short term foster couldn't hold them any longer, so Liesel and Lila had to go into boarding and they are confused...We would like to get them into a home ASAP...These two are good on a leash, love to cuddle with people as much as each other and LOVE children and other dogs...🥰...They have been untested with cats, but because of their lovely dispositions, would probably be fine. If you are interested in adopting Liesel and Lila as a pair and live in the Northeast OR Texas, please fill out an adoption application and we will be in touch promptly...Let's find these girls the home of their dreams ASAP...🙏🙏🙏...Adoption fee for Liesel and Lila is $325 each = $750, with includes complete vetting, medical record, new bed, bones, balls, collars, harnesses, leashes, food for transitioning and transportation. They are currently in foster in Texas.

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/14/25 Sanford is in need of a foster home or adopter. When i say this is a WONDERFUL dog, I mean it with all my heart. This guy is the easiest dog ever. He bothers absolutely nothing. He is so content to just curl up in his bed and sleep all day. He is almost totally house trained (only a couple accidents when I didn't let him out fast enough). He's quiet and you wouldn't even know he's there, except when he hears a car start up, because he wants to ride. He is soooo submissive to other dogs which brings me to the reason for looking for another foster/adopter. My dogs all have strong personalities. No one has attacked him or anything like that. But one growl from one of them, and he immediately goes to his crate or the bathroom closet that he has claimed as his own. It breaks my heart for him to be so secluded. Tonight, for the first time, I got him to come into the living room with us while we were having some down time. I was so proud of him for finally having the courage to come in here! He was doing great, until he came to rest his head on the back of the couch behind me, and Thelma snapped at him. He immediately ran to the bathroom and now won't come back. It's so sad. He wants to be with people. He LOVES ALL PEOPLE. And he would love a dog companion who is mellow like him, that would accept him. He is very sensitive and gets his feelings hurt when my dogs are ugly to him, and it breaks my heart so much to see him hide away, spending all day and night alone. He deserves better than this. He has the kindest, most gentle soul, and all the love in the world to give. His only negative is that he will bolt if you don't have a fence. I don't think he really wants to get away, he just seems to have that hound mentality and follows his nose, which could be dangerous for him. So a secure fence would be best. It doesn't have to be super tall, ours in only 4ft in front and he has never tried to jump or climb it. Other than that, he is the perfect companion and friend. Sanford came to us with a badly broken jaw. He is estimated 10 years old. We've had his jaw repaired, but he still has a tooth that sticks out and his bottom lip is droopy. This is just how he is now, and I've told him it only makes him more interesting and handsome. He does have heartworm and has just finished his 30 days of doxy, so he will be getting his injections to get rid of the heartworms this week. We hope and pray for no complications with that. We just want him to be healthy. He is the sweetest, most kind hearted dog I've ever met. And he deserves to spend the rest of his life surrounded by a family who loves him, not secluded in a crate or closet all alone. If you would consider opening your home to this distinguished gentleman, please message me with any questions or more info. Whoever ends up with him will be so lucky. He will love you with his whole heart. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/10/25  Rocky is currently enrolled in the Paws in Prison program. He started there on 2/10 and will be there for 8 weeks. During that time he will be with an inmate trainer who will work on the basics with him (basic obedience, leash walking, house training, etc.). They meet weekly with a dog trainer. When Rocky graduates, he will have his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We hope he has a home waiting for him when he graduates in April.  Rocky is a sweet, affectionate pup around 1.5-2 years old, with a gorgeous brindle coat and a gentle spirit. At 38lbs, he's the perfect size—just the right balance of not too big, not too small. Rocky gets along with everyone he meets, both humans and dogs, although he may bark a little when first introduced. He has been fostered at a Doggy daycare where he is friends with many dogs of all sizes. He barked at the cats at the vet clinic so probably would not be a good candidate for a home with felines. When he was rescued from the shelter, we noticed a slight limp in his back left leg. After a vet check, we learned it was an old injury that’s fully healed, and the vet felt it best to leave it as is. Since then, Rocky has been gaining strength and doing great with regular exercise. With a wonderful balance of playfulness and relaxation, Rocky is an easygoing guy. He loves to play but is just as happy to lounge and relax by your side. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to join a loving family! He is approximately 1.5- 2 years old, and is a mix of many breeds. They meet weekly with a dog trainer. When Gary graduates, he will have his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. We hope he has a home waiting for him when he graduates in April! Gary was dumped at a business where the workers fed and cared for him until they gained his trust. Once he realized humans were not a threat, he morphed into the sweetest, most affectionate young man. At approx. 6 months old, he is almost completely housebroken and crate trained. We believe he is a Lab mix. Gary sleeps in his crate all night and doesn't make a peep. He is learning to walk on a leash and to ride in the car without being scared. He wants nothing more than to be loved on and talked to. He absolutely LOVES playing with his foster siblings (male and female) and is the submissive type. He is not food / toy aggressive, nor is he a jumper, so he would do just fine in a home with younger children. Gary is the quiet type and seldom barks, so he would be an ideal candidate for apartment/condo life. Gary would LOVE to be adopted into a home with another dog that likes to play and wrestle, but he's told us that he will be happy as long as he has a safe place to lay his head at night, food (he LOVES to eat),a few toys/treats and most importantly a person or family to love him. This is all he asks for.   Gary promises to be a good boy and best friend who will love you with everything he's got! He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.2/15/25 Toka (Tooka) is almost 1 year old and she is a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for her forever family! She is house and crate trained and does well with other dogs as well as cats. Toka loves cooked carrots and cantaloupe, and she had her first bully stick today, which she loved! She enjoys going for walkies and gets SO EXCITED when she sees her pink leash. She is also great with kiddos, and lived with several in her previous home. She bonds hard and wants to sit right by your feet. She enjoys a good game of fetch and she is very gentle taking treats. She is loving this cooler weather we are having here in Arkansas right now, and would do amazing in a cold climate. This sweet, loving girl was surrendered by a very loving family who has had her since she was a young puppy. They did not want to give her up but their landlord would not allow her to stay and they didn't have the means to move. She will be fully vetted and ready for her new home soon.
