Story
Little Bit is an endearing pup who thrives on human affection and companionship. He enjoys being the center of attention and prefers the company of people over other dogs. Little Bit's sweet nature and affectionate personality make him a loving and devoted companion for a family looking to shower him with love and attention. However, it's important to note that he has a knack for finding his way out of enclosures, so a secure environment would be essential to keep him safe. Despite his escape artist tendencies, Little Bit's loving nature and preference for human company make him a delightful addition to any loving home willing to provide him with the attention and security he craves. As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Story
In a shelter not so far, far away, there resides a dog whose destiny is as grand as the galaxy itself. Meet Anakin Pawalker, a canine force to be reckoned with (in a good way). With his striking caramel eyes and sporty energy, Anakin is a whirlwind of activity, always ready to embark on an adventure to a galaxy far, far away-or just around the block.Much like his namesake, Anakin is fueled by a passion that knows no bounds. But instead of the Force, it's food that ignites his spirit. Anakin is utterly obsessed with all things edible, his nose leading him on quests for treats and snacks throughout the shelter. Whether it's a tantalizing chew toy or a savory bone, Anakin's appetite is as insatiable as the Sarlacc pit.But don't let his penchant for snacks fool you-Anakin is more than just a hungry pup. He's also incredibly energetic and playful, always eager to engage in lightsaber duels (or perhaps a game of fetch) with his fellow canine companions. His enthusiasm is infectious, and his funny personality keeps the shelter abuzz with excitement.Anakin is a loyal and loving dog who would follow his human friends to the ends of the galaxy. He's a good-hearted boy who dreams of finding his forever family and living out his days in a galaxy filled with love and adventure. If you're ready to embark on an epic journey with a canine who's out of this world, look no further than Anakin Pawalker. May the treats be with you as you join forces with this lovable guy and discover the joys of life in a galaxy far, far away-or just in your own backyard. I may be older, but I'm still a small puppy at heart. I'm stuck somewhere between teenager and adult, and as a human, you know how hard that stage can be. Story
Hello! Otis is a good dog who needs a home where he is an only dog and owners who have the time to give him training and the love he deserves. He is crate trained and loves eating his meals in his crate, and he will sleep in there but loves sleeping with people as well. He is a high energy dog who needs a household that can keep up with him. He does not get along with other male dogs, I am not sure about female dogs but it would be best for him to be an only dog. He does not bother cats and is good around kids. He will come with his food bowl, water bowl, his blanket, and his crate.

Story
Sarge is a loving, friendly ball of energy. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is a big boy at 96 pounds. He loves treats and chasing his kong. I have a fenced yard, thats what he really needs. He can be leash walked but he gets excited and pulls trying to play with any animal he sees. He is protective, but friendly once you meet him. He turned 10 this past December, you would not know it. He needs a family that is active and can spend time with him. He wants to be with you, if we are in the yard and I go in he will be at the door shortly after. He loves treats and belly rubs. I do not want to have to rehome him, but I must do whats best for the both of us. I cannot physically take care of him anymore because of medical issues. I hope to find him a family or individual that loves him as much as I do. Once you meet Sarge you will love him. He is a really good dog and will make someone a great friend.

Story
Destin is a 3 year-old big boi who enjoys snuggles, going for walks, and PLAYTIME! This over-sized puppy is nearly 90 lbs of muscle and love. He's described by some of his favorite volunteers as a huge dog who is simply excited about life. He loves to run zoomies in the play yards, and will never turn down a game of fetch. He's a great leash walker, as he's been training with our behavior team, especially when using a transitional lead (we can show you how to use it, too!). Staff and volunteers who work with Destin say he is such a good boy, and when he's not begging to go on walks, he really just wants to cuddle. He's young and energetic, and would be perfect for an active person who enjoys hiking or running, and can give Destin lots of mental and physical stimulation. Destin needs an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs, and can handle his size and strength. It's hard not to love him though, when he shows you his soft side - his squishy face and big ol' paws are simply irresistible! He loves soft blankies and plushie toys, and is a total teddy bear at heart. Come meet this good boy today!

Story
Kong has many fine qualities! He is a playgroup allstar and is very adept at reading the other dogs' varied personalities. We use him as a helper dog when new dogs come in, to gauge their friendliness with other canines. He loves people and is friendly with all, never meeting a stranger. He's a pretty good walker, who loves going for strolls and does not pull very much. He is not overly "needy" but he does love a good snuggle session! Probably due to his love of people and other dogs, Kong feels less than comfortable when left alone. His ideal home would have another dog and/or a person who is retired or works remotely. Kong is an absolute treasure and will make some lucky person a wonderful companion!

Story
Gage is a cute fellow with an expressive face who does a splendid Husky vocal impression while in his kennel. He warms up to people quickly, especially if given a butt scratch - this makes him turn in circles and lean in with delight. He has started going to playgroups with other dogs and has made many new friends. He recently went to an off-site adoption event and we learned how he loves to simply lie down or sit in our laps and enjoy the sunshine. We never realized how calm, loving, and relaxed he is away from the shelter, as is the case with so many of our residents. Gage would enjoy a nice yard to run in, maybe with a canine buddy, and/or pleasant walks to continue his weight loss program. He's pretty good on leash and does not jump on people, which is always a desirable trait!

Story
Bellissima is just as her name implies - beautiful. She's not just beautiful on the outside - she has a beautiful personality as well. She can be a bit timid at first with new people, but she warms up quickly and is very sweet and loving. She has lived with young children and did well with them. She enjoys playing with other dogs who are gentle, but she doesn't like sharing her toys and food at home, so she needs to be the only pet in the home.
