Good with dogs,
Story
We found this good boy on a highway in rural TN. We have checked all over for his owners-called vets, shelters, talked to neighbors, posted online, checked for a microchip-with no luck. We have had him for almost a week, and although he is very sweet, we already have a dog and cannot keep him forever. He is very well mannered and friendly, although seems unfamiliar with home living. He occasionally tries to pee inside, and doesn't like to be crated. He seems unfamiliar with toys and treats, we assume he was an outdoor dog who didn't get much attention. He spends most of his time sleeping and following us around the house. He walks on a leash pretty well and enjoys going for jogs! He is very mellow and gets along great with our dog. We wanted to reach out before taking him to a shelter, as the only local one his a high-volume kill shelter.

Story
Tatiana, is a bundle of energy, and can scale a fence pretty easy if you she wants. She is our wild child, and needs someone who has the patience to guide her on her way to being a great dog. I have had the mother since she was only a few weeks old. She's a very good dog, and loyal. I hadn't gotten her fixed, but had normally had no problems keeping her contained during heats, but this past year a new neighbor dog started showing up, and he finally got to her. We located and got in contact with the family who owned the male, and they promised to help and take a couple puppies to raise once they were weened, but the only help they brought was one five pound bag of food and said they couldn't take any of the 11 puppies mamma dog had. Since we have gotten them all fixed and vaccinated, and still need to find three of the beautiful babies their homes

Story
Our mama dog, Mikasa, had a litter of 11 puppies! Juniper is a relaxed goofball ready for someone to play with. She's potty trained, she'll sit for you, is getting familiar with the leash and dog parks. She's definitely a cutie with her long hair and brown eyes. My boyfriend and I are relocating and don't have enough space unfortunately (we're keeping two of Juniper's siblings as is). She's fixed and Up to date on her shots and dewormer!

Story
Kriss Kross is a remarkable lab rescue mix who found his way to Friends of Dogs in July 2023. When he was found as a stray, he was in dire need of care. He had a thin scar around his neck from being tied up, a sore back ankle, and infected ears. Additionally, his eyes are slightly crossed, possibly due to past trauma. Friends of Dogs rescued Kriss Kross not out of pity, but because of his sweet and happy disposition. He has a kind heart, and it was clear to the rescuers that he deserved a chance at a good life. His foster mom took Kriss Kross to the vet for a thorough assessment. He is approximately three years old, weighs 43 pounds, and is heartworm negative. The vet suspects that Kriss Kross may have experienced head trauma, affecting his brain and causing his eyes to cross. His sore ankle is likely the result of a previous injury, which may have caused it to grow incorrectly. Despite this, he doesn't appear to be in pain and has a distinctive, endearing hop when he walks. Kriss Kross has been thriving in a safe and nurturing environment, something he has never experienced before. He has been neutered and is now ready for the next step in his journey. Kriss Kross needs a special home where he can continue to receive the love and care he deserves. Kriss Kross's greatest joy is to be with people. He longs for human connection and eagerly soaks up pets and cuddles. While he is friendly and polite with other dogs, he always prefers to be close to his people. Due to his past trauma, he can be a little anxious and needy, but he has so much love to offer in return.
