Story
Samantha showed up at my house February, 2023. She had been roaming around the neighborhood for about a week. I started feeding her and searched social media for someone looking for her. I did not find anyone. She was about 9 months old at the time. In May, 2023 I had her updated on her shots, wormed and started her on heart worm prevention. The vet aged her to be coming 1 year old. I had her spayed in June, 2023. I took her in May of this year and updated her shots and heart worm preventative. Sam, that is what I call her, is now coming 2 and needs an active family. I am not. I am 76. Sam is very sociable, she likes everyone. She is black with a silverish undercoat. She stays tied up in my back yard all the time and it breaks my heart because she would make someone a really good companion. I am asking $500 to recoup some of my vet bills. Her large igloo house, 30’ lounge line and 15’ tetter goes with her. Also, any food and Heart-guard I have on hand.

Story
This beautiful girl is looking for a home with a family of her own. She is very loving, affectionate, calm, 4-5 years - LOVES people and children. You could literally do pull on her ears and take food from her mouth and she would let you. She is dog-selective, but perfect in every other way. She was a stray, found with another male dog and gets along with him (they are in a foster home together) but has not gotten along with others (specifically a female in the same home). So far she pays no attention to cats (which is great) but we can't confirm she'll be completely compatible. Please reach out if you're interested in giving this wonderful girl a chance. We will facilitate a meet and greet, a trial period, foster-to-adopt, whatever is necessary to see if she's the perfect fit.

Story
Chip, a gorgeous 8-month-old lab mix, affectionately known as Chocolate Chip, Chip, Chipper, or CC. With her sleek black coat, white breastplate, and a stylish white sock, Chip is always ready for a formal occasion—though she might need a bath first, as she loves finding muddy puddles during her outdoor adventures! Chip is an outdoor enthusiast who delights in playtime and exploring her surroundings. Her favorite pastime is discovering new and exciting muddy puddles, much to her delight. Despite her love for outdoor fun, Chip is also a gentle soul who is adored by toddlers for her snuggling abilities and gentle demeanor. Chip enjoys the company of other dogs but is perfectly content being the only dog in a home, as long as she has a loving person by her side. She is great with: - Toddlers: Always gentle and ready for snuggles. - Other dogs: Enjoys their company but doesn’t need a canine companion. Chip is a well-trained pup who has mastered: - House training: She knows to do her business outside. - Crate training: She feels safe and comfortable in her crate. - Dog door training: She uses the dog door with ease. - Leash training: She walks well on a leash, making strolls enjoyable. Ideal Home Chip would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of outdoor playtime and receive lots of love and affection. She is adaptable, making her a great fit for families with young children or as a solo companion to someone who can give her the attention she craves. If you are looking for a playful, gentle, and loving companion who is great with toddlers and enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy snuggles, Chip might be the perfect addition to your family. She is ready to bring joy and love to her forever home. Come meet Chip and see if she’s the perfect fit for your family!

Sweet Titus is sibling to Romeo. He was abandoned at our storage facility and we were lucky to find him. He was sick with parvo. We nursed him thru and he has become a hunk of love. He is well behaved and gentle, but very shy and shut down with new people. This will just take time to overcome. No cats. No little kids. But 8 and up ok. Rides well in a car and loves to get a pup cup.

Story
Ester is a beautiful young pup, estimated to be between 10-12 months old, with black and white/grey and typical gsp coat. She had a rough start to life but is thriving in our care. Ester was found starving and abandoned, covered in fleas and severely malnourished. Despite her rough start, she has blossomed into a loving and trusting companion. Ester is incredibly confident and playful with both people and other dogs. Her journey to recovery has not dampened her spirit. She is still very petite but has filled in nicely since being found. Social Skills and Behavior: Ester is a high energy pup who loves to play and interact with others. She is affectionate and enjoys the company of people and other dogs. Her playful nature means she sometimes doesn't realize her own strength and has accidentally knocked over toddlers, always looking apologetic afterwards. Despite this, she is gentle and caring, making her a sweet addition to any family. Training and Progress: In the last few months, Ester has shown remarkable progress: - Potty training: She is working on it and making steady improvements. Never poops inside but has trouble holding her bladder for more than a few hours. - Crate training: she is crate trained and enjoys being in her kennel staying quiet for the most part unless she needs to go potty. - Leash training: She walks easily on a leash, making walks enjoyable. Health and Care: Ester has had a few health complications. During her spay surgery, the vet noticed abnormalities. During recovery, her previous foster noticed she was having a hard time holding her bladder while in her kennel. After follow up visits with the vet, they decided an additional exploratory surgery was necessary. The vet discovered her bladder was lined with unknown substance that was hard as bone. Biopsy of the material found came back as unknown and puzzled the vets. After a few rounds of antibiotics she has made a full recovery from her last surgery however still has an incontinence issue. She is currently on a medication to help her with this issue and we have seen improvements, however she still needs to wear a diaper inside and in her kennel. She has been on the new medication for about 3 weeks and we have seen significant improvements and more than half of the time her diapers are completely dry. Ideal Home: Ester will thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime. Due to her high energy levels and strength, she will do best with a family who can provide her with ample training and supervision. She loves being around people and will be a wonderful companion for a family who can match her playful spirit and give her the love she deserves. If you are looking for a resilient, affectionate, and energetic pup to add joy and excitement to your life, Ester could be the perfect fit. She is ready to find her forever home and share her love and playful energy with a family who will cherish her. Come meet Ester and see if she’s the perfect addition to your family! Foster-to-Adopt is a great way for a trial period with a dog.
