Story
My husband adopted Brandy at birth (3 mos) and had plans to make her his hunting and fishing companion, but my husband fell ill about a year ago and passed away recently, and I don't have time to spend with her and I think it's unfair of me to keep her when she's very active and needs more attention than I can give her . She's very very smart but hasn't had much discipline so she needs someone who's going to be consistent with her and teach her boundaries . She's a purebred. She's also registered AKC and I do have her papers. Also, I'm going to be very picky about who adopts her. Her perfect owners would have at least one child it's old enough to play with her, a man who likes to Hunt and fish, another dog for a companion, and a big yard for her to run. She loves other animals. Also, she was raised with four cats. She loves cats. I'm asking for a small rehoming fee of $500 and that's because we paid $1800 for her.

Story
Cookie (formerly Lei-Lei) came to us from an owner surrender. In the few weeks we have had Cookie, we have come to love her. The reason we cannot keep her is that she is young and playful and my husband is unsteady due to Parkinson’s Disease. Cookie plays well with our smaller dog, though it gets a bit loud at times. Cookie would benefit from a larger yard and room to run. She is very athletic. She would make a great running partner. Cookie is scheduled to be spayed the first part of September. Her fee will increase to over the surgery. I also have an appointment with a dog trainer. She can sit, go down and wait for her treat. She needs training to not pull on a leash, and a few other manners. Again, fee will increase to cover this expenditure. Cookie is a wonderful dog and so sweet. I would only release her to people who would love her as she deserves to be loved.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Coconut!  This girl had a rough start to life when the humans who were supposed to help her abandoned her. Since coming into a loving foster home with ASR, she has turned into a social butterfly. She is around a year old and will be a medium sized girl at 40 pounds. She does great with other dogs and loves to play. She is a little shy with people at first ,but warms up quickly. She would do best in a quiet home with another dog buddy to romp around with. She is oh so sweet and cannot wait to continue to blossom in her forever home! She is available for foster to adopt! If you would like more info or would like to schedule a playdate, please fill out an application HERE. Coconut's adoption fee is $495 and includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and flea treatment.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 6:46 pm
