Story
We took Hawley in over 8 months ago. She is a very sweet dog- typical lab aggressive eater- But otherwise has been good with our older kids (10+) and came from a home of teenagers. She does great on leash, and is kennel trained. Not the best listener with commands- a little stubborn- but working with her over the last few months I’ve seen improvement. Hawley is not a good fit for farm life. We were told that she had exposure to and was great around chickens and goats. Hawley is not great around chickens and goats. We have seen no aggressive behavior towards any person- she is so friendly in greeting new people and loves to be around people. She is still playful loves to cuddle. She currently lives out doors as a farm dog. But would love to be indoors more often. We do not recommend to trust Hawley around any small animals- Caged, fenced or otherwise. She is also a digger. We hope to find a home that can provide her love without temptations. She is around 6 years old

I do get along with other dogs but would most likely do well with a female dog that is around the same size as me. I'm not to sure if I would be the best with cats as I do chase them. I get along with other female dogs but my play style is a bit rough and I can get pretty vocal but I'm just trying to play. No cats or chickens as I like to chase them and It would not be could if I caught one. I'm not sure how I am with young kids as I'm full of energy still and might knock them over by accident. Maggie came to us as a rescue, she has been with us since the summer of 2022. She has enjoyed beach trips, movie nights and runs beside the scooter. She is an avid cuddler and leaner. She loves people, and kids; she just doesn’t know how big she is. She is very slow to trust other dogs. She is house and kennel trained. The issue we have is she is jealous of the baby… and doesn’t respect baby boundaries.
