Rehoming our 2 dogs. Prefer to rehome them together to a loving family. We have a black lab mix named Smokey he will be 2 in April, he is fun and energetic and than perfectly fine lounging around. Nani is a Staffordshire mix, we got her in Hawaii and she is very much a mix breed. She loves to run and play with Smokey before taking long rest periods. She will be 6 in April. The good- Both dogs are excellent with kids have lived with 4 in the house their whole lives. Good with cats and chickens. Crate trained. House trained. Pretty good with basic commands come, sit, stay (less so when excited). Neither are chewers. Pretty good on a leash, Nani better than Smokey just some pulling but not like he is going to drag you around. Smokey plays fetch could possibly be trained as a retriever. They both love to play with each other and enjoy large off leash areas. We have well documented medical history. The bad- Nani does have some separation anxiety which having Smokey around has really

Indy is a 9 year old golden Labrador. Indy is neutered, and up-to-date on all shots besides rabies, and one of the Bordetella shots. He has flea and tick medication that is administered monthly. He has always had very high energy, and even though he is getting up there in age, he still has plenty of energy. Indy's favorite thing to do is to play catch. He loves going on walks as well. Indy is not a picky eater, but is also on a chicken and rice diet. He loves to eat carrots and bananas as well. Indy thinks that he is a lap dog, and doesn't realize how big he is. He will sleep on the couch and the bed with you, and loves to cuddle right in. Indy is kennel trained. We usually will put him in the crate for meal times, bedtime, or when we leave the house. Indy is getting older in age, and he can get grumpy at times, especially when it comes to other dogs. I would say he would do well as the only dog in the house. Indy, overall, is just a big lovebug when he is with hoomans, though. He loves people, and just wants to run and play, and cuddle up next to you at night.This animal is being cross-posted for private rehoming by its owner. Howdy, I'm Murphy! I may be almost nine years old, but don't let that fool you-I've still got plenty of energy and love to give! My favorite pastimes? Playing fetch, a good game of tug, and hanging out with my favorite humans. I'm proud to say I never destroy my toys, and I'm fully housetrained. When my human leaves for work, I'm a paw-fect gentleman - free roaming in the house and spending most of my time napping. I'm low maintenance and easygoing, as long as I'm in a pet and child-free home. Murphy was in foster care and his foster mom had this to say about him: "Murphy aka Murph, Smurphy and Sweetheart. Murphy is attentive, protective and ever-watchful. When I' in the bathroom, he stands guard. In the kitchen when I'm making coffee, he nuzzles in between myself and the cabinets. He is adventuresome and loves to play and to run. He communicates his needs in a quiet, patient way. He knows sit, stay and back-up. We are working on him placing the ball in my hand when he returns it to me for throwing again. He enjoys watching birds, squirrels and cats but isn't a fan of other dogs. He gets excited when he sees them, willingly changing directions of his walk to head toward them. He pulls on the leash off and on but is redirectable. Murphy wags his tail for humans walking toward him. Loves people. Definitely potty trained. He wakes up before I do but sits quietly waiting for me. When he sees my eyes open, he comes closer knowing that I am getting up".
