Story
Meet Goober, a 10 year old neutered male Lancashire heeler/terrier mix, weighing about 28 lbs! This sweet senior boy is very timid and nervous at first and takes time to warm up to new people and new environments. He will need a patient, gentle person who will allow him time to feel safe and comfortable. Once he feels safe, Goober is a very sweet boy. He is good with other dogs, not cat tested so we are unsure how he would do with cats. Due to his timid nature, we recommend older kids 8+ who know how to respect a dog's space. Goober is medically up to date and ready to find his furever home to spend the rest of his days. Apply to meet this special boy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2280567##
