Her absolute adoration for other dogs is where she finds her strength, taking her cues and building her confidence from them.Carla absolutely needs another more confident dog in her future adoptive home to help her learn how to be a dog and boost her confidence. As she doesn`t walk on a leash yet, a fenced yard is essential to keep her safe.Carla has a playful side that shines through when she encounters sprinklers, showing glimpses of her fun-loving nature. Are you ready to provide Carla with the loving and supportive home she needs to thrive? This sweet girl is eager to find her forever family and share her journey of growth and discovery.- - - - -Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience.
