Story
Teddy was abandoned by a co-worker and was taken in with much love and training. He is the most loving, cuddly, happy, well trained, responsive dog ever! He will great you with the happiness of a million smiles and such joy every time you open the door. He is a hugger and will nudge you for cuddles. He will guard your home and bark if anyone tries to come into your home at odd hours. He loves to run and chase squirrels and birds. He knows both those words and listens so well to commands. It breaks our hearts to rehome him but we live in a building and had a baby and are not able to give him the time and love he deserves. He is the perfect size to travel. We take him on car rides all the time. He loves attention and doesn't like sharing the spotlight, so its best he is the only pet he gets jealous but not in a bad way its actually cute. He loves soft foods. Looking for someone who is ACTIVE! GOES ON RUNS/WALKS, OUTDOORSY, doesn't have kids and maybe works at home.

She was no longer wanted, and had no place to go. Shasta deserved better, so we opened our doors and hearts to change that for her. She is an adorable, special little dog who has endured quite a lot on her way to the safety of Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. She is looking for a family with abundant patience, love, and an understanding of her needs to help her be a wonderful companion - and your best friend forever. She would especially enjoy the company of another dog to show her how much fun being a part of a family can be! If you’re looking for a calm, small dog, you’ve found her! Meet Shasta, a Lhasa Apso looking for a quiet, slow forever home where she can learn to relax and take it easy. Shasta is a bit scared in new situations and is still learning about all the things in her world, like doors, stairs, and other thresholds, but is slowly coming around. She has made great strides in her time with us, graduating from resisting human touch and walks, to enjoying pets and loving walks. She now walks well on leash and is happy to go out for a walk! Shasta also enjoys the company of other dogs and has been doing well with her canine friends while in our care. Shasta will likely benefit from another dog in her new home to show her the ropes and encourage her to continue coming out of her shell.
