Story
We live in the city of Lamarque Texas with Simba. He is a 15 year old Lhasa Apso. My family bought Simba in 2009 after hurricane Ike. He is neutered. He has not been to the vet since early 2024 because there is really nothing else that they can do for him but make him comfortable. He has developed liver problems, arthritis, glaucoma and he’s hard of hearing. He gets along well with kids and he doesn’t really pay attention to other dogs in his old age. He tends to just observe them and when he doesn’t want to be bothered, he’ll go to his favorite spot under the dining room table. He doesn’t climb the stairs anymore but every now and then he gets enough energy and surprises us as he’s coming down the stairs. He is like a calm old man, minds his business, observes and yes he still barks and run to the door when he thinks that he hears someone outside. I’m a travel nurse and can’t take care of him anymore being that he needs more attention as he ages. I’m hoping to find someone to

Story
Eddy is a 1 year old real cutie. He was rescued in a bayou in Houston, clinging to a clump of weeds after rain filled the bayou. He was wary at first, but relaxed quickly for a scared little guy. He has a low growl when held and and petted that seems almost like a purr, rather than a growl. He may have been raised around cats. He has been around my grandchildren (ages 10/11) and loves them. He is crate trained, and goes outside eagerly. He is not fond of kibble, but mixed with scrambled eggs or a meat/rice/vegetable mix he eats well. He was very thin when I got him. He gets along with my own dog. He is ready for a forever home. He just loves to lie close by, and to be loved. He is about 14 pounds and fully vetted- netuered, up to date on shots, hw negative and microchipped. He is good with other dogs. No young children please! Adoption fee $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
