Thanks to the lovely folks who trapped us and brought us somewhere safe, my kittens have started finding families of their own. Now it’s my turn to find a warm home of my own where I can snuggle up and feel safe. My behavior shows that I was most likely born outside and have been living out there for the last 10 months with little contact with humans. Since we’ve arrived at the shelter, I have been very hesitant to trust the humans here and tend to run and hide when they clean my litter and give me food. I am looking for a quiet home with no children where I can hide out during the day and come out to eat at night when nobody is around. Due to me being in fight or flight mode since being born, I am still settling in here and will need to learn that humans are just trying to help me. I will need a family that understands I may never come around to wanting attention and will just enjoy having many beds to snuggle up in and food to eat at night. I am working on trusting my people and will need lots of time and patience to settle in and get used to my new environment.
