Story
Meet Stella R. Tois aka "Stella," Jenna C. Brew, and Jennings - 3 one -year-old sisters who are looking for a home. These 3 girls have been with us since they were little kittens, about 8 weeks old. They were found in the parking lot of the brewery in downtown Culpeper.Stella is the braver of the 3 sisters and enjoys being pet, once she gets to know you, on her terms Usually while eating). Jenna C. and Jennings (like twins!) are very shy but submissive. When they need vetted, it isn't difficult to pick them up and place them in a carrier - again, once they are comfortable with you. These girls are not barn cat material. They cannot defend themselves and are not street smart. They are, what we refer to as Violets - or shrinking violets. Stella, Jenna, and Jennings need a patient, quiet, loving home where they will be loved for who they are and their new person or family will be patient until they come out of their shell and learn to trust. They are litter box trained, but at times can knock the litter out or knock the box over. Easily fixed. They are not aggressive. They do not claw furniture and would love a large climber in front of a sunny window. Because they are not lap cats, they have lived a year in foster care and are yearning for their new home.Won't you please open your heart to them? Their perfect home would be a quiet, low activity home with either no children or children over the age of 14. Adoption fee - adopt 1 get 2 free. They just need a good, loving home. Story
Luna is 8 (born in March 2016), she is a small Maine Coon/Tabby mix Hemmingway. She has 7 toes on each paw in the front and 5 on each in the back! She is such a sweet girl and great cat friend, she loves to snuggle, curl up in your lap, sleep on you, and in general is very chill. We had another cat the first few years of her life and she loved playing with him! She has been an only cat for 3.5 years though so I don’t know how well she would do with another cat now. We are finding a new home for her because with two small kids she’s not getting the attention she needs & deserves, she doesn’t get along great with the kids (she hisses and scratches after too much toddler/in your face behavior). Luna has a degenerative disc in her back and requires Gabapentin daily. The cost is about $25/month plus 2-4 vet appointments per year. I love my sweet special baby girl and hate to part with her. I’m looking for her forever home where she will be loved and adored ❤️
