Story
Meet Curtis 🎉🐾 Curtis is a 2yr old 8lb, Poodle/Maltese mix. Curtis is as cute as they come! Curtis is a super sweet boy who loves everyone. Curtis is playful, sweet, submissive, and treat motivated. Curtis does need to learn basic manners, so being he is treat motivated will make training a breeze. Curtis is missing his eye, but that doesn’t slow him down, and no other treatment will be needed. Curtis loves his people and can be vocal about it. Curtis is very excited to be with his person and he will let you know, he can be a talker… hahaha. Curtis would do great in a home that is active. Curtis would also do great being a shopping buddy since he loves everyone and he’s small enough to fit in a large pocket..hahahaha. Curtis is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Curtis please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org, located under the contact tab.

Story
Molly sounds like such a sweetheart! It's great to hear that she's found a kind foster family after her tough situation. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! With a little more time and patience, she'll come into her own. This beautiful girl is 3 years old, weighs 12 pounds and is a creamy white Maltese mix. Molly is a charming, gentle and loving soul who enjoys snuggling but hasn’t yet discovered the joy of playtime with toys. Despite her past, having been found wandering the streets of Stockton with a badly injured eye, she's now in a safe and caring foster home. Molly is learning to be potty trained. She has occasional accidents during the day but does well overnight. If she needs to go outside, she’ll walk to the door, so a doggie doorbell is suggested since she doesn’t yet bark to signal. Molly may need some leash training, she travels well in the car. She is scheduled for spaying and the removal of her injured eye, though that will not affect her mobility. Fostering saves lives, and with some love and guidance, Molly will surely thrive! If you’re interested in giving Molly a forever home or would like to learn more about her, please reach out! Molly will have a bright future ahead of her! We have a Facebook page and hope that you will “Like” us at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61561870361467 see postings of our dogs. Story
Bella is a pretty and delightful little companion, ready for a loving home! Bella she is a 3.5 year-old 12 pound, white, long legged Maltese/Shih Tzu/ Poodle mix? Beautiful and wide eyed Bella was surrendered by her owner because they were moving and couldn’t take Bella with them. If you’re considering adopting her, be prepared to offer her a patient and caring environment, especially as she adjusts to her new surroundings. It’s wonderful that she’s already housebroken and has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped; that’ll make the transition easier for both of you. With some gentle encouragement, Bella will likely gain confidence and become more comfortable walking on a leash and being in new situations. Giving her the opportunity to sleep in your bed could help strengthen your bond and make her feel more secure. If you’re interested, don’t hesitate to apply to adopt Bella. She deserves a loving forever family! We have a Facebook page and hope that you will “Like” us at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61561870361467 see postings of our dogs. Story
Mellow is 3 years old. He comes from one of the litters that my other sweet pup gave birth to. He was raised with her and his dad up until now. He's a mellow pup, which is where the name came from. He was the most mellow one from the litter. He is fine with other dogs and does well at dog parks. He's more on the shy side with other pups until he warms up. He was not raised around children, so I don't know how he would do. He knows the words "treat, walk, outside, and sit". Mostly, he is house-trained as long as he has access to a yard. He has been raised as an inside pup with a dog door that is always accessible. I’m looking for someone who has time and love to give. He loves to cuddle and be petted often. I'm not in a rush to send him away with just any applicant. He’s loved very much here, and I’m looking to find a good fit for him and an applicant. I’d also accept him back if the transition didn’t work out.

FOSTER OPTION: This little young guy was found by a Good Samaritan on a cold and rainy morning, and brought to Jelly's Place. Though he is at Jelly's Place, He is on a stray hold with Contra Costa County until 3/14/25. If not claimed by then he is available for adoption. Monty is a young boy, approx 6-10 months, and was very emaciated when he arrived. He will continue to thrive in a foster home. The foster home should have someone home during the day, and be willing to work on his potty training and understand the needs of a puppy. If interested, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org.
