Meet Jax! H e’s a 2ish year old energetic boy on the hunt for a wonderful forever family! Jax is looking for a new home that is committed to providing love and guidance so he can grow up to be a wonderful, well-behaved dog. Jax  loves to play with toys and give kisses. H e would love to go to reward based training classes so he can spend time with his  new family to learn how to be the best puppy he can! If you're ready for a lifelong commitment, please fill out an application and someone from CCRC will be in touch. Jax was in a home with respectful cats, kids and dogs.  We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   July 12, 2024, 4:28 am

Story
Meet Betty White! This sweet girl is looking for a foster-to-adopt home. She deserves a loving forever home…could it be yours?? Betty has been a perfect angel in her temporary foster home! She’s a TOTAL catch and, so far, is mostly interested in snuggling with her humans. Aptly named after the beloved Betty White, she seems to have Betty White’s personality too! She’s one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever met. Betty will need her wonky eye removed once she is finished with her round of antibiotics (all medical costs covered by rescue). One thing we do know: it makes her unique and somehow even more adorable! What does foster-to-adopt mean? It means that you’re fostering with the intention to adopt. ALL medical expenses will be covered by the rescue until she is medically cleared for adoption. -Estimated 3-5 years old -Poodle/dachshund/bichon mix (visual guess) -About 15 lbs. -House-trained -Dog, cat & kid friendly -Microchipped -Rescue covers all medical and she will be up to date on all upon adoption If interested, submit an app here: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Richard is a little guy that is newer to our organization. He is about 2 year old. Richard will need a home that will give him time to warm up and also respect his space when he is not comfortable. Once he warms up, he is all about getting attention from his people. He, however, does not want attention from strangers right off the bat. He also will alert bark at perceived threats (hard to tell what his little brain is thinking sometimes haha!) and will let you know he isn’t happy about it when you leave. He has kept his crate clean, but will need a helping paw with house training in his new home. Richard would do best in an adult only home who loves little dogs with big personalities. Story
Pippin is a 13 year old maltipoo. Don't let his age fool you, he loves to cruise around the house or backyard. He loves a nice comfy dog bed and does wonderfully in his crate for 9 hours.  He gets along with dogs of all sizes and would prefer calmer dog friends. Being an older guy, he does have some vision and hearing loss, so is a little jumpy with fast movements/touching. I would recommend kids 10+. Apply today to meet this sweet guy!
